It seems to me that the only one that doesn't understand the depth of your arrogance - is you. If guys like you are reflective of the typical American; it's no wonder you are so damn unpopular around the world. Calling Canada or the CFl (America Jr.) is reflective of the egotistical reputation Americans have. Someone who has to continue to try to convince others how good they are is a sign of a huge insecurity not a sign of strength. America might be a powerfull nation but that does not mean that you as an American are powerful. You sir, because you try to bully others, are in fact, a weakling and a coward. By the way, you have contributed absolutely nothing to the original thread except your insults. Get a life!

Listen, you came on this site asking a question. And you got several answers. Most of them legit responses. But apparently you didn't get the answer you wanted "Gee, you're so right armchair jock. Grim21 is one person. I'm not saying he didn't antagonize you early on. Though I think he was just teasing you and you blew it out of proportion. Still I'm not condoning what he did.

But the point is you turned it into a "Warpath vs. armchair jock" issue here. Seriously, I've got no problem with the CFL or Canada, but I definitely feel like you're trying to ram your opinion down our throats. Just accept the responses, though you may not agree with them and join in on some of the other discussions going on on this site.

I think the reason why people are attacking you is that you were perceived as coming here to gloat about the baseball game. Rightly or wrongly, that is how you were perceived. It appeared as though you had an ax to grind, so you've got to expect some flak.

Umm! Now, see if I have this straight. You are saying when non-Americans come onto this site and start gloating (or, generally bragging or sounding boastful) which by the way, is how many Americans come across to non-Americans - those same Americans want to attack that person. Interesting!

we didn't go to your forum, you came here. we got people from the UK, NZ, Philippines, etc and no one else has had any problems.

I don't know what you're hang up is, but you come across as almost violently xenophobic. You expect to be able to call people whatever names you choose, but if anyone disagrees with you they're either arrogant or assholes.

and i love how one person calls you a name as all of a sudden all americans are terrible people. by that standard i have no idea why ANYONE would ever want to deal with a canadian. A petty and arrogant bunch, eh?

I must come clean with my involvement on this forum. I was asked to do some research on human dynamics where the participants interacted while not being able to communicate face to face. Part of the research was to try to incite feelings of animosity. I make no apologies for doing my job, but do want to apologise to those who were caught in the crossfire. For obvious reasons I was not allowed to reveal my motives or who I was. I thank those who participated (albeit unwittingly) in this research. This site is one of many that I have researched under different names to attempt to collect different data. I may or may not reveal to these other sites what I am revealing to you guys. Take care.
