Nice insight, makes sense that they can't go back on their word. I assume the road team needs to know which uni's to bring with them.

Yea, I contacted the NFL a few years back and they told me that the teams before the season starts they have to fill out a form stating what unis they will be wearing at each home game.

I think it just alternates year to year.

It definatley rotaes every year, this year the AFC gets to pick.

They have worn White for there 1st 5 home games then Red for the last 3 home games. Interesting enough that they wore All White the 1st 2 games. Does not seem to be a reason, but my guess would be they would wear White and Redskins then would wear all Burgundy.

• If I'm Seattle, I'm not taking any chances. I'm not wearing the greenish blue jerseys-greenish blue pants combination against Washington, thereby allowing the Redskins to go with their white-on-white look. Washington is 6-0 since donning the all-white uni.

This quote from Don Banks in his Snap Judgements column this week at SI.

So here we go again....anyone know if the Skins will wear All White in the great Northwest on Saturday? Surely the Hawks aren't stupid enough to let them do it again for a 7th straight time!

I got nothing to say about burgundy uniforms...but I watched that Tampa game from a cruise ship (currently in Mexico) GO SKINS (am drunk, excuse me)

Seattle normally wears their dark unis at home. I think if you change unis to affect the other team, you are showing weakness. We'll see if they feel the same way.

I agree. I'd definitely want to call them a big bunch of superstitious pussies if they went against their normal home colors because they feel like those colors make us unstoppable.
