Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire careermooby 12-28-2005, 09:06 PM There's an exclusive interview with Lavar tonight at 11 p.m. on channel 9 news. EternalEnigma21 12-28-2005, 09:28 PM Thanks for the update... I'll be watching! BigSKINBauer 12-28-2005, 09:35 PM Misquoted?? that is a little well that is easy way out. I am and always will be a lavar supporter but like Jerry seinfeld said todays sports people don't cheer for players, they cheer for laundry and whoever is wearing that laundry is who they cheer for. Lavar in my opinion will be here next year. i want him here but if he said any of this shit this week i am gonna get pissed because as gibbs said the entire town should have one focus-eagles. I am glad he now has to waste his ****ing time on the news because he wasted time earlier this week. Better have a good excuse EternalEnigma21 12-28-2005, 09:37 PM bauer... take it easy... we don't know the whole story yet.. jhold4th 12-28-2005, 10:31 PM 56 needs to go. And instead of retiring that number, burn it. dmek25 12-28-2005, 10:35 PM we dont need anyone who creates friction during the week of the biggest game for the redskins in the last 6 years.the redskins and coach gibbs have already proved that NO ONE is bigger than the redskins organization djnemo65 12-28-2005, 11:07 PM I love these threads that say I love Lavar...BUT, its time for him to get the hell out of Washington. Dude says he was misquoted. I'm gonna at least give him the benefit of the doubt. MTK 12-28-2005, 11:15 PM He's always misquoted and always the victim. It's getting old. Just shut up and play. mooby 12-28-2005, 11:22 PM i'm one of lavar's biggest fans and i would hate for him to be cut. I realize this situation is becoming kind of old, and fans get tired of it. But i still see a lot of hate directed toward him the past few years. It's like people blame him for all of the redskins past problems. One player can't ruin a season. He hasn't been the same since that knee injury, but give him a good offseason with no problems and I believe he will be back 100% next year. These past two years, true, he hasn't been worth it, but is it worth it to cut him just because of that? Even if lavar doesn't do shit on the field, when he's out there other teams account for him and where he's at. I believe that he still wants to finish his career as a redskin on a good note. SkinsLove24/7 12-28-2005, 11:24 PM This should not be something the Redskins need to worry about with one of the biggest games in years this Sunday. Beat Philly, go to the playoffs and win then discuss LaVar. Can't let it become a distraction. |
