The Redskins have completed an NFC Player of the Week trifecta. On Tuesday, wide receiver Santana Moss was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Redskins' Dec. 24 game against the New York Giants.
It's the third consecutive week that a Redskins player has won a NFC Player of the Week award. The team has accomplished that feat in all three phases of the game.

Two weeks ago, Antonio Brown won the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award for his game-winning, 91-yard kickoff return touchdown against Arizona. Last week, Phillip Daniels was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his four-sack performance in the 35-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Now it's Moss's turn. He caught five three touchdown passes to help lead the Redskins to a 35-20 win over the Giants. Moss, one of two Redskins named to the Pro Bowl last week, finished the game with five catches for 160 yards.
His first touchdown was on a 17-yard screen pass, the second was on a 52-yard bomb from Mark Brunell and the third was on a 72-yard strike from Patrick Ramsey.
Moss earned his second NFC Offensive Player of the Week award this season. He also received the honor after the Redskins' Week 2 game at Dallas, in which he caught two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to help lead Washington to a 14-13 win.
