So why continue to harp on Mark Brunell then? If you think Ramsey is the better quarterback (although right now I've seen nothing to suggest such...) then that's your opinion. But, why can't you support Brunell as the current starter instead of picking him apart? What is it about Mark Brunell that you dislike?
well i believe by saying that i hope he as an ALL WORLD DAY is supporting him.... i just never thought Patrick has gotten his fair shot....(not that there is anything I can do about it) Brunell was brought in ..i am loyal to the players that have been here for the bad times.. like Ramseyand Lavar ...now the team is better maybe i wanna see them get there chance not just throw them away.but if he plays i want him to do well..... If people can say how brunell is making better decisions i can say he's not...

Mark Brunell would have been brought in regardless if Patrick was the clear starter or not. Look back on history, you'll find that Gibbs loves his veterans, especially at quarterback. That has always been a key to the Redskins' success: depth and protection! In all honesty, both quarterbacks showed me nothing last year when they were battling for the starting position. Neither deserved the starting nod. Gibbs went with the veteran and it's paid off.
Neither Lavar nor Ramsey has been thrown away. Will they be cut this season? Who knows, but I'm pretty sure Gibbs and company will make the decisions best on what is best for the team..and that isn't always what we think is fair for the players. You can't argue with a coach who's won Super Bowls with three different quarterbacks.
You can say anything you want to about Brunell...nobody is saying you have no voice. However, I'm judging my thoughts based on what I have witnessed - not what I wished I could see. Therefore, based on fact, Mark Brunell has played very well for us this year and has made some great plays and great decisions. He hasnt' done anything that suggests to me that it is time to make a quarterback switch.
????? How has Brunell steadily declined?
I keep hearing this from some people, but the numbers simply don't support it.
I'd love to hear a solid argument for once instead of someone using their gut feeling as a basis for fact.

There's a novel idea!

Mark Brunell should have been selected to the Pro Bowl over Micheal Vick. Many experts have compared this year to Brunell's time in Jacksonville and rightfully so. Someone should put together a collage of highlights of his games this year and watch the unbelieveable passes he makes dispite the games we loss. The most memorable was his tight spiral passes against the Broncos in the cold rain to Cooley. What I respect the most about him is he rarely if ever call an audible. Rather he adjust to the blitz and makes the harder throws under pressure. Mark Brunell is the best option for a Superbowl ring under this Joe Gibbs era.

are you serious? You want Campbell to start because Brunell threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown? In a game we won by 15 points? Brunell has been nothing short of great for us this season. He has 22 touchdowns against 9 interceptions. Those aren't numbers of a crappy quarterback, those are numbers of a damn good quarterback.
