5RINGS 12-26-2005, 03:18 PM wow that's some paranoid thinking there!!!
If there is such a Cowboys bias where the hell has it been since 1995/96?!?!?!?
Why so many Steelers in the HOF and so few Cowboys!?!
It's funny, Cowboys fans think the refs and media are against them, and Cowboys haters think the refs and Media support and assist them.
It all washes out.

We are not talking about HOF induction right now, we are talking about the refs in games. No one wants to see the Redskins win, I think the term "Cowboys hateres" only applies to Redskins fans, while Redskins haters are all over the place, not just Cowboys. No one likes the Skins, and now that we are doing well people are finally considering us, but still I can feel that doubt.
ladyfan06 12-26-2005, 09:28 PM I would love to see the Cowboys in the playoffs.... only if carolina loses, we win and dallas wins. Then I hope both teams make it to the NFC championship game, and we beat dallas in washington for the third time. To me that would be the perfect season.
along with a superbowl win
Thank you...I have been telling people all day that this would be the perfect scenario ...whoop 'em again at FedEx in the playoffs...a third win in one season...throws lots of salt in the wound to those sons of bitches!
BigSKINBauer 12-26-2005, 09:41 PM Before the season started i wanted the skins to get the number 5 and the boys to get the number 6 so we could get a NFC championship game at home. I figured the eagles would most likely win the division. Now a couple weeks ago i noticed that the skins could get to the playoffs with the 4th seed the giants with the 5th and the boys with a 6 so we would play the giants in the first round and if the boys and us win out we would play them in the championship game and so far things are right on track.
Now to add onto my scenerio let all that happen and let parcells retire after he gets embarassed
dmek25 12-27-2005, 11:41 AM this is starting to remind me of the eagles website.do we really need this much crying?we are having a great year and if you would have polled skin fans at the start of the season and said we are in the playoffs, how many would realistically believe it?we have swept the cowboys this year.that alone is considered by many as a good season.shortly we will have also swept the eagles and joined the playff mix for the first time since 1999.we have an outside chance at winning the east AND having a home playoff game and fed ex has really become a home field advantage for the skins so there is lots to cheer about.coach gibbs-coach of the year, mark brunell-comeback player of the year,portis-1500 yards rushing,moss-big play after big play,cooley-one of the best te/hb in the league.what else could we want other than winning the super bowl, which the late in the season we still are in the running for
sandtrapjack 12-27-2005, 11:50 AM Wow I am impressed how everyone had a better seat and view of that field goal than the refs on the field just a few feet away. Also impressed how the refs checked the instant replay of that kick over and over, and everyone else here still saw more than the referee did in thier own instant replay machine.
Wow I am impressed!
dmek25 12-27-2005, 02:07 PM sandtrap your hangin on by life support, you know that?that kick wasnt tipped, and i am a die hard skins fan.i would love to meet you guys again in the playoffs.how about you?

Your thread is only slightly stronger than mine, each team MUST win on Sunday to get in. Washington has not secured a play-off spot yet. It is likely, but not certain.
But to see the chances of Dallas-Washington meeting one more time this season in the play-offs, a lot has to happen. So for arguements sake lets say that Carolina lays an egg in Atlanta and looses Sunday. Not too likely but the most believable of all scenarios. If Carolina looses that bumps Washington from the #6 seed to the #5 seed. The NFC playoff pic would look like this
#1 Seattle
#2 Chicago
#3 NYG
#4 Tampa Bay
#5 Washington
#6 Dallas
Week 1 of the playoffs would be Washington @ Tampa Bay and Dallas @ NYG.
IF both teams win then Dallas goes to Seattle (again) and Washington goes to Chicago (I do not envy any team that has to go to a playoff game in Chicago in January). If both teams win then we see another Dal-Wash game. And that would be the NFC Championship game.
Washington is playing the best game in the league right now and is streaking at the perfect time. Dallas, well I just never know which team is going to show up. The likelihood we meet again this season is very slim.
D'BOYZ 12-27-2005, 02:50 PM Agree if and that's a BIG IF because of all the scenarios that have to happen for us to get in I believe we might get the upset on NYG since we almost had them when they where at their peek. But I trully don't believe we can take Seattle right now in 2 weeks I'll late you know lol
I see Washington beeting TB but it will be hard to beat Chicago at Soldier Field in January but hey anything can happen

Actually, Chicago is the only team that really scares me in the playoffs right now.
I'm pretty certain, provided that we beat Philly, any of the Redskins would welcome a rematch with Tampa. Whether it be Raymond James, FedX, or right outside in the parking lot!
