Great job Ramsey by not losing it after having to call those 2 TOs. Have to admit I was worried. But kudoz to the coaching staff by having him throw the ball to Moss. It is obvious that he's learned alot watching Brunell, Gibbs, Buges and Breaux. Think he gets it now. The importance of not turning the ball over, not forcing plays and not holding the ball too long. He finished with a 153.3% QB rating, ofcourse only played less than a half, but by no means would that game have been over if he'd have thrown a pick, fumbled or taken a sack. Ramsey entered the game at a very crucial point of the game and succeeded. Let us not forget the 87 season when Jay Shroeder and Doug Williams combined to bring us our 2nd superbowl victory! You can never have too many quality QB's in the NFL. Now more than ever before! Saw a stat yesterday was like 78 QB's have played and 59 started this season. There's 32 teams. Good job Ramsey and get well soon Brunell!i attended that super bowl in 88 in san diego, down 10---0 to the broncos and well that 2nd quarter and doug williams .i'll never ever forget that merry christmas......wheeler:)

He looked really comfy back there yesterday and i really think by him being on the sideline has helped him. he was in control getting on players that wasnt in the right spot on the field.

Patrick did a great job managing the game and not making the mistakes we have seen him make in the past. I admit I was going crazy after those two blown timeouts in a row when it looked like we were falling apart but he never lost his composure and played great after that. We might need him against philly if brunell can't go so lets give him all our support!

Patrick Ramsey's first comment during post-game interview on the field was his concerns for Mark Brunell's injury and hoped that he starts against Philly. To be so team-oriented after what he's been through with the organization says a lot about his character. I'm sure Patrick wants another chance as a starter, and I don't think that's going to happen as a Redskin, so I wish him the best.

The timeouts made me crazy, but the old Ramsey would have snapped the ball and tried to pull a play out of his ass. We got a TD after the 2nd timeout, which made them well spent. His dump off pass (after seeing no WRs open) impressed me as well. Ramsey will be needed indeed and glad Gibbs hung on to him despite his trade requests. Look at Philly. They really don't know who to put in at QB. I guarntee Reid will be shopping for a backup this offseason.

I'm glad the Skins didn't panic and trade Ramsey without another proven backup quarterback. It looks like Ramsey is going to have to start against the Eagles and I'm confident he can get the job done. If he manages the team and takes the shots that are given to him, he will do fine. Actually he has a better chance of hitting Moss deep.
