Sorry I do not see Dallas scoring 27 on the road against the 'SKins defense. Coupled with Tucker on the left and Pettiti on the right, the play calling will (unfortunately) be ultra-conservative again.

If you notice the only time that Parcells "opens up the playbook" is at home in Texas Stadium. If he is going to have Bledoe throw the ball in excess of 30 times this weekend it will be in front of a very loud and hostile crowd. That is just programming our young tackles for failure by them getting numerous false starts from the noise and having to pass block.

I think MB3 gets most of the carries in the first half, and then when he has softened up the defense, Julius will come in late in the third quarter, fresh and rested.

Low scoring affair when these two defensive coordinators square off.

Dallas 13 Washington 10

Sand my man, I am not as rational as i usually am this week. I got massacred here after that Monday night defeat, and can't wait for this GAME TO START!!

I say 27 because the Skins interior line has been decimated by injury. I think we get 27 running the ball over our guards. I believe that both starting DT's for Wash are O-U-T. We have two runing backs that Parcells has a deegree of confidence in.

Also. Williams Defence is a system that the team has bought into, it is not based on freestyling and Athletic Ability. I like our chances of burning that system the second time around.

fool you once, shame on us. fool you twice, same exact spot, same exact situation....you suck

yes, Bledsoe would've done the same thing except for the fact our defense doesn't suck.

OK guy point taken, but to say the Dallas defense sucks is a bit like the pot calling the kettle black.

The Washington defense is ranked #9 in the NFL and Dallas Defense is ranked #10. The only thing that seperates the two is LESS THAN 2 YARDS of total yardage allowed. Dallas has allowed an average of 300.7 ypg and the Redskins defense has allowed 298.8 ypg. That is only a 1.9 yard difference over 13 games. If you do the math over 13 games the Dallas defense has only allowed 4 INCHES (not yards or feet, but INCHES) more per game than that of the Washington defense.

Dallas defense has allowed only 1/10th of a yard (.1) more in rushing than the Washington defense for the season.

Dallas defense has only allowed 1.8 yards more per game passing than that of Washington for the season.

Take it a bit further, the Redskins have allowed an average of 18.9 points per game whereas the Dallas defense has allowed and average of 17.9 points per game. I say this because games are won by POINTS and not yards, as was evident in week 2.

These defenses are the closest there is stat-wise in every category that they are almost identical.

So to say the Dallas defense sucks, well you better take a long hard look in the mirror.

This should be a good game, I will call it great only if the Skins can pull it off!!!

Ever since the Skins exposed the Cowboys secondary every team they played tried the same deep ball pass. Hell, KC ran the same play this past Sunday and scored a TD. The Cowboys usually stuff the line with R. Williams and if they do, I'm betting we toss the ball to Santana or Cooley. I mean, they can't take all our weapons out...and if Jacobs ever manages to get up for a game it just might be this one.

Dallas had a phase where the deep ball plagued them, but that problem has been resolved

On defense attach Dallas on the edge where Tucker and Petitti reside.

Each is good for giving up a sack or 2 a game.

Line up Griffin over Al Johnson all game and let him overpower Johnson

While Moss will have the most yards receiving, Chris Cooley needs to lead the Skins in receptions--his ability to keep the chains moving and as a quality redzone target is invaluable.

Dallas, under Mike Zimmer, has historically struggle covering the TE

Utilizing the FB in the passing game could also present a problem

true, we have weaknesses in defensive personnel just like any other team.

it's just our D-coordinator knows better than to not compensate for a broken scheme right after its been exploited :biggthump

Ill I don't think you can call our defense weak seeing as fans from both teams have pointed out that they are virtually identical in terms of yards allowed and ranking.

nah like i said - i was really just digging at your d-coordinator. the same play twice against the same defense must be d-coordinator taboo rule #1. i'm sure he's learned his lesson since then (unfortunately)..

i'm sure it will be a :duel:
