Possibility of a First-Round Bye?

I should mention - mheisig is talking about a 4-way tie, which is why, given my previous post, head-to-head doesn't count.

Holy hell...everyone here must be blind to the quotes (i.e. " ") in my original post. Merely an interesting article I ran across (yes, on a very slow day at work) that I thought I'd share, not my original work and/or a hypothetical situation that I spent hours dreaming up. Just read the damn article that I linked to at the bottom.

I must admit this discussion has revealed an amazing degree of pessimism and disgruntled Skins fans, though I guess recent history is probably to blame for that.

Now, back to my theory that we never actually landed on the moon in 1969...

first round bye, are you smoking something? How about a bye for the whole playoffs. We struggle against the Cards, come on, and you think we are going to beat the Cowboys, and Giants.

I have an intersting question, that really dosent pertain to this season, but hypothetically....

What if Seattle Won the West with say a 13-3 record, and St. Louis was 11-5.

THEN say the Skins won the East at 10-6, and beat out the South and North winners. The skins would then get the number 2 seed w/ a worse record, correct?
No I am pretty sure the seeds(and therefore the byes) go to the teams with the best records regardless of their playoff berth "type".

Playoffs would be amazing but even an 8-8 season is a big improvement from last year and you can't help but be left thinking about next year!! But don't give up on the possibilities. See you in Detroit!!!

Ugh - the "8-8 isn't an improvement over 6-10" argument again?
