Taunting?

I apologize if this has been brought up elsewhere, I haven't seen it. Not that I'm complaining but when Brown returned the kick and started blowing kisses and waving to the Redskins sideline isn't that taunting? Or would it have only been taunting if he was directing that to the Cardinals bench?

And how fast do you think Gibbs would have cut him if in that moment someone snuck up on him and knocked the ball out of his hands?

just as fast as the first time he cut him.

LOL. I imagined Brown taking off his helmet and jersey right there on the sidelines and being escorted off the field by security. Or better yet Gibbs racing onto the field itself and dragging Brown off by his ear.

if that run had been called back because of taunting i would've been pissed. i would be cutting brown the next day. Hell, i would've been so mad i would've just told him to go to the locker room, take off all the uniform, cleaned out his locker, and given him a bus ticket back to washington d.c. But seriously, if it had been directed to the cardinals sideline it might've been. Then again the refs might've been lenient, and not given him a penalty.

I didn't consider that really taunting, lacking class maybe, but not taunting. What I did consider taunting, and he's lucky he wasn't flagged for it, was when Portis had a big run and he stood up and did that spin thingy with the ball right in the face of a defender, now that's taunting!

Thanks for that info. Makes it MUCH better. I KNEW he was going to break one this game... just knew it.

That wasn't taunting, its silly and uneccessary but not taunting. In today's NFL, where just about every play is celebrated in some way by a player, you have to do a lot more than what Brown did to get a flag for taunting.
