have to give props to the playcalling, finally skins dont go conservative and try to run out the clock, nobody,I mean nobody, expected the skins to throw to Royal with 2:03 left, that call definetly helped us win this game

i was praying they would throw it because if it was incomplete it would have probably been at 2 minutes or if they ran it, the clock would have stopped at 2 minutes anyway.

yeah i was like, damn the redskins are actually throwing when they have a lead with under 3 minutes to go in the game. Rare moment indeed.

Wasn't this pretty much the same scenario against Tampa, except it was third down in that game? Glad we learned something.

That was a magnificent call. In the past, we'd have seen 2 runs up the middle for a total of five yards, an incomplete pass, and Derrick Frost kicking a 30-yard punt.

I thought that was a good move as well because that was the essence of my post after the Tampa-Bay game. I must admit I was suprised, but it was good to see them not go conservative at that point in time.

It made sense b/c even if they ran it the clock would have been stopped with the 2min warning

I think it was the only call to have made in that situation. What about the hand off to Portis to grab that last first down? :)
