Since we have a Portis-Davis poll, I thought we could have a similar one regarding Santana Moss closing in on Bobby Mitchell's single season franchise record for most receiving yards.
According to Redskins.com Moss needs to average 81 receiving yards per game to break the Redskins' single-season receiving mark of 1,436 yards by Bobby Mitchell in 1963. Mitchell, of course, set the record in just 14 games.
But shoud Moss and Portis both set individual records for yards rushing and receiving this year what a statement that would be for the progress our offense has made.

i say yes. Moss will get hot in his last few games and do it on his way to the Pro Bowl.

i say no. his numbers have been lower ever since defenses figured out hes our only dangerous reciever.
I think portis is a top 5 back. always have. some people havent.
I thought Moss was a one dimensional WR. He is. but that dimension is GAMEBREAKER!.
Our offence has struggled most of the year. its down right pathetic considering how well portis and moss are playing. hell even brunell was considered for comeback player of the year...
I hope they both break it.
Btw, i was thinking of brian mitchell when i saw the title of this thread :)

Honestly, I think Moss will shatter it in like the last game v. the Eagles....I think he'll have like a 200 yd game before we're done this year.
But what does this really say about the "U" as well? I really don't care for some of the players and their attitudes sometimes, but that program has helped our team a helluva lot!!!
I might add, seems like Moss, Portis and even Taylor are consumate team players.

Haha! Me too!
I think either CP or Moss will break the record, but not both. Unless we win out, in which case both must break the record.

Yes, because he is on my fantasy team. Not to mention he adds 10 yards to almost every catch in RAC.

No, because, as others have pointed out, other teams are trying to to neutralize him.
