Anything is better than Cris Collinsworth!
Brian Baldinger???saden1 12-06-2005, 04:16 PM Anything is better than Cris Collinsworth! Carnage 12-06-2005, 04:23 PM Baldinger went to Duke and walked on to the football team, was undrafted and basically walked on to the cowboys. I know him to be a bright and articulate guy, despite the Maas-like things he says during games. That Guy 12-06-2005, 04:33 PM bright and articulate? nah he spent the whole game telling the audience that the game has passed gibbs by and he always seems to have "just talked to them the other day" whenever he talks about anyone or anything. Its annoying, and he's just as bad as maas. FirstandTen 12-06-2005, 04:36 PM Baldinger is a almost as bad a Mcguire.. And thats bad. djnemo65 12-06-2005, 06:08 PM Baldinger was made fun of by his own network yesterday on Fox's First Team radio show. The exact quote was: "Baldinger is an assault on the cochlea." The guy dissing him is a Skins fan too, so he's obviously thinking like us. giacomo2 12-06-2005, 06:26 PM This Guy Is A Complete Jerk...i've Seen Him Do Alot Of Redskin Games And He Always Seems To Agree With The Refs Calls When They Go Against The 'skins, And When The Call Goes In The Redskins Favor He Seems To Use His "bullshit Logic" To Say The Refs Made A Mistake. For Example: In The Rams Game He Didn't Seem To Mind When The Rams Db' Where Forcing/pushing The 'skins Receivers Out Of Bounds, But When He Thought The 'skins Did It Once, He Said It Was A "bad No-call". I Have A Question? How Many Times Did He Mention That The Rams Qb Went To Harvard? By My Count...over 20. What An Asshole!!!! onsidekick 12-06-2005, 06:32 PM a couple of weeks ago i was listening to a sports radio show, 670 the score in Chicago. And Balldinger and Maas were the topic of conversation. they actually got Maas on the phone and asked him if he was aware of the criticism that he and others like him faced because of the way the try to imitate Madden, etc. It was pretty hillarious. Anyway, I'll give Maas credit for taking the question. His response was basically 'yes he is aware of the criticism but this is how his bosses at Fox have asked him to call the games and he kind of has to stick to the script'. So, if he's telling the truth than his bosses at Fox are bigger idiots than he and Balldinger skinsguy 12-06-2005, 07:25 PM I'm not convinced that Baldinger and Maas aren't the same guy. I don't believe I've seen them in the same place at the same time. With that said, I can't stand his commentating. He says the most idiotic things - although I was finding myself agreeing with him in the first half! Yikes...a first for everything. jdlea 12-06-2005, 07:44 PM I'm just curious what anyone thinks of Baldinger???? Also, what do you guys think of him on Playbook (NFL Network)??? That guy never adds anything to the announce team. He just tells me all kind of stuff I already knew. I hate that guy! 56FAN 12-07-2005, 03:43 PM There's asaying in the "master of disquise" this is what you are doing, this what i want you to do.the jest of the hand movement was to shut up |
