Well, and I haven't researched this fully but ... if the Eagles are virtually out of the playoff picture, wouldn't it be better if a playoff caliber team lost to a non-playoff caliber team? In other words, wouldn't you root for say, the Cardinals to beat a team like Minnesota since the Vikings are closer to the Redskins for a wild card spot? Of course, this is all moot if the Seahawks have already locked up a playoff spot. If we win our next 3 and lose to the eagles(entirely possible) we can still get in with a 9-7 record as long as the eagles also have a 9-7 record because we would have won 4 division games and they haven't.
