He's not getting the turnovers I expected (just 1 INT), but his "fear factor" plays big in games and cannot be listed on a stat sheet. I think Torry Holt's comments speak to Taylor's ability to put fear in opposing offensive players. Anyone remember Todd Pinkston's alligator arms last year? I bet that was a product of Sean Taylor.

Dwight Smith (New Orleans), Brian Dawkins (Philadelphia), are Darren Sharper (Vikings) Sean Taylor's competition for the Pro Bowl. My guess is Dawkins and Sharper will get the nods.

I think we really saw the value of Sean Taylor in the game he didn't play. Without Taylor there, the whole middle of the field was wide open for the Tampa offense.

Did anyone see that shot he put on a Rams receiver, I think it was Bruce. He got held up and spun around and Taylor came in and cleaned him up. At the time they were talking about the Rams coach blah, blah, and they didn't even mention the stick.
LOL
I saw it too. Baldinger (or whoever it was), was rambling and rambling, and it looked like Taylor killed the poor guy. But no one said a word and they just went on babbling like nothing happened. They didn't even show a replay.
I gotta find that video clip.

You said it. Case in point.
I think Roy Williams is really overrated. The guy is horrible in coverage. Just ask Santana Moss. ;)

Just something I've always noticed about Rams receivers, do they NEVER want to take a hit? Seriously, I rarely see them right for extra yards. Holt catches it, lays down. Bruce catches it, lays down. Sure, they have speed but I rarely see them beat people with moves, because it seems to me they can't STAND to get hit.

Yeah it's annoying to watch at times, but it's smart on their part I guess. Otherwise they would take some nasty shots, and considering neither Bruce or Holt are 100% right now it makes sense for them to avoid contact.

They've been avoiding contact pretty much ever since they consistently got killed in the Super Bowl against the Pats. It really doesn't bother me anymore. The Colts pretty much do it too.

redsk1 are you kidding me?roy williams is garbage in pass coverage.just ask our own santana moss.as far as dawkins,he will probably make it on reputation even though he isnt having a pro bowl type year.sean taylor should be on the team, but after c griffith didnt make it last year, who knows?
