The Skins just beat a Rams team with 2 pro bowl receivers in Bruce and Holt. Granted the QB play of Fitzpatrick isnt Kurt Warner, but we blitzed and got pressure. I believe getting pressure on the QB is one of the major keys to the game. And as always and can never be said enough, limiting turnovers and penalties is the most important. I cannot remember how many games we have lost due to this problem. In St Louis The Skins did a fantastic job cutting out the mistakes, and wahlah we win. huh, imagine that. Skins can win in Arizona, and then after coming home with 2 road victories the Skins can beat a struggling Dallas team(who at this point will have lost 3 in a row). Go Skins.
Nice post. You're right. I wish we had applied more pressure to Kerry Collins. Would have been a different outcome

Yep, should of pressured Collins, Bledsoe, I mean many of the QBs we have lost to this season is because they are statues and given time will cut up any Defense including us. Getting to the QB is extremely important in Gregg's d I believe and when we cannot break through the line and get it, we struggle.

Helps to have C Griffen back--he really puts pressure up the middle--it collapses the pocket, prevents QBs stepping up, and frees up the blitzers.
THis is a must win (as are all the rest). And there are no easy games for this team. If we can lose to the Raiders at home, we can lose anywhere. But I think if we play our game, we can win anywhere as well.
At least the games still count!!!

we have c griffin, their oline isn't great and warner gets nervous easily... so hopefully we can get to him... this is the best passing attack we'll see all season though.

Two words: SEAN TAYLOR. He, Rogers, and Griffen will all be positional upgrades from the Bucs' game. Not to mention the Cardinals' complete lack of a running game. I wouldn't be surprised if they had under 40 yards rushing Sunday. We will have over 200.

We should go after Warner and put him on the turf early. Then, we set the tone for
the game and force him to make bad decisions. We should try to control the line
of scrimmage on both sides and control the clock.
Don't forget the last time the Skins played Warner, v. the Rams, Arrington laid the wood on him and we recovered the fumble to save the game.

Believe it or not, the Cardinals are No.1 in passing yards............and 32nd in rushing.
Maybe if Marc Bulger was playing.

That tells me they're playing from behind alot and their running game is a mess.

They do rack up the passing yards but because they cant score those yards are meaningless, similar to the skins rushing yards. The Cards and the skins have scored almost the same amount of points for the season (I believe the skins have 2 more 145 to 143) so this will be a very tough game for the skins and one they could easily lose if they are not careful.
