I'm getting hooked up with DirecTV this sunday, hopefully before the Skins' kickoff!

Is the superfan package worth getting too?

thanks

I like it, but its nothing spectacular. I'm ussually only home for just the game though, then I come back to college. I think RickMr would have a better idea of how good it is.

It's only worth it if you have an HDTV since they show all the HD broadcast's as part of it. The other features have been so screwed up this season that they are giving it for free next year to people that ordered it this year. -Summo

The best thing about SuperFan is u get the ShortCuts of each game. The Short Cuts are every game condensed into 30mins! takes out all the time in-between plays, all commercials, challenges deals etc.. Its really cool!

I don't need NFL Sunday Ticket right now, however, how much is it? You never know - I might have to move out of the Redskins region one day. I'd hate the thoughts of not getting to see the Redskins play.

Right now the ticket is free if you subscribe to their premium programming package at $49.99/month for 4 months. After that you have to downgrade or the premium package kicks up to it's regular price of $90 something per month.

What is all included with the premium package? Right now, I have the "Gold package" from Adelphia (which will soon be Comcast,) and we pay about $120 a month. But that is all the regular cable channels, digital cable channels, and two movie channel packages (I have HBO and Stars.) It also includes two digital cable boxes for rent and cable internet.

The Cable internet is one thing I do not want to live without. It is more cost efficient than DSL and much faster. However, I have heard alot of good things about Direct TV, but not about the internet service.

Here's their Premier Package (http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/learn/Packages_TotalChoice_Premire.jsp) info.

I'm lovin' DirecTV so far. I stuck with Time Warner for broadband internet though.

FIOS is supposed to be the bomb for internet access. The base package is as fast as cable, and the more expensive packages can be 2-3x cable speeds.

I'm contemplating dumping cable, but I get a $15/month discount on the internet access, so I'm looking at alternatives. FIOS is not available in a lot of places, though.
