"Rams rookie tackle Alex Barron is scheduled to undergo thumb surgery today and the team could be without both starting tackles Sunday. Orlando Pace left last Sunday's comeback win over Houston because of hip and hamstring injuries, although an MRI exam Monday reportedly showed no serious damage."

Another rookie quarterback...
Missing both starting tackles...

Oh, I can't wait. Everyone is already heralding Fitzpatrick as the next Warner because of a comeback against the Texans?! The TEXANS!!! Come on now. Sure, he'll play at a Marino-like level against us, but I'm sure Williams and company are licking their chops to this one, especially with the way the defense played last week.

Honestly, even without their starting tackles I'm not so sure our D-line will be able to get any pressure......LOL

Seriously though, that is some good news. Hopefully Fitzpatrick comes into the game feeling like this whole NFL thing is easy after shreading the Texans D.

Since we've gotten Griffin back, you've seen what one player can do for a whole defense. I think that will be the case this weekend as well.

Our record is suspect with Backups. I think we are cursed. Can you say..........Clint Longley??????

I will be at the game. The defense better be all over the rookie.

Yes, the D needs to harass the Rams' rookie QB early and often. We can't let him get into any kind of rhythm.

And as soon as Williams starts sending the house, Steven Jackson torches them for a 50 yard run. This is a game that Washington should absolutely win, but it has all the makings of a disaster.

this is probably the 2nd most winnable game we've had under SF. i don't want to say that they're the 2nd worst team bc it'll jinx us.

It does indeed, but there are two major factors that I feel won't let that happen (possibly 3). The number one factor is Griffin drawing double teams allowing our linebackers to make plays. Number two is the fact that last week our run support was VASTLY improved with Rogers running the show. Arrington back has been an improvement. The third POSSIBLE reason is the fact that both starting tackles are out.
