Should we start a new quarterback?

you cant blame brunnel for all these losses. We cant run the ball in the fourth quarter when we need to.nor stop anybody when we need to.

Lately, all I see Brunell doing is throwing the ball away. No, I do not blame him alone for all of the losses. But, he is the QB -supposedly the offensive leader. He has simply not performed very well in most of the last 5 or 6 games. Looks a lot like he did last year and so does this offense.

I don't want to see another season go down the tubes and I believe it will if he starts next year. Notice that I'm referring to next year, because I think this year is toast. Maybe not yet mathematically, but in reality it is.

Would love to see the Skins in the playoffs, but it is just not going to happen. Don't see this team suddenly morphing into a good team. Definitely don't see Brunell becoming the man to lead them there.

Stick with Brunell until the team is officially out of the race.

I do. The more time he gets to watch games from the sidelines and practice against 2nd stringers before starting, the better.

I think he would turn into another ramsey if he played now.Lots of potential but not very good.We need to get another reciever and straighten out the o line before we throw him to the wolves.

He might be. I don't know. All I do know is that 1-1/2 years of Brunell is enough for me. As I previously posted, he had a string of great (even exceptional) games early this season. Now, he's almost back to his dismal play of last year. He will never take us to the playoffs.

Time to give the kid a chance to lead this team. If he's not ready, let Ramsey play and prove, one way or the other, if he should be our starting QB. Gibbs has never given him that chance. Yet, week in and week out, he allows the mediocre play of Brunell to continue.

I think that I will love watching J Campbell run this team and look for it asap but I believe there is something to be said about a QB getting some clipboard time to learn the new game and speed.

Sure Eli and a few others get tossed out there but also look at Steve Young and others.

I'd like to see Campbell at the helm next year. But what do I know.
peace

nope... it's time to go on that 5 game run, starting next week.

I'm with you. I'm not buring my head in the sand.. Mark Brunell did what he could do. The playcalling like the last three weeks was conservative and predictable. Let's see how well we play after the loss. The team has to be pissed by the way they allowed teams to hang around. But technically we are still in the playoff hunt. My season will be excellent when we beat the shit out of Dallas and New York. The Giants missed the field goal attempt!

If you pay attention to the Redskins.com and Jason Campbell's contract for next year, he's supposed to get some time next year with incentives attached. Mark Brunell is the best bet against Dallas, New York and Philly. To hell with that. Campbell's not ready for that.

I'm with you on this one. Brunell is our best bet and Campbell would likely get shredded by the Gmen and Cowboys. But, I understand those who think we should start playing for the future (which, of course, does not include Brunell).
