Should we start a new quarterback?

a couple more losses to pathetic teams and i might agree. but the season isn't lost yet, if we win all the remaining games we might have a chance. one more loss, and we are done, realistically, and mathematically.

How many times over the past few seasons have we been here saying that?

I'm totally fed up with the same shit every year.

I would like to see Ramsey start and get the proper opportunity that he deserves. Campbell is a Rookie still and should learn this season at the very least like the Cinnci (Carson Palmer / Heisman trophy winner) quarterback. If he is destined to be our quarterback he will prove it by the beginning of next season.

Let's be realisitic.. Mathmatically we are still alive but realistically, at BEST 2 games back in the division, at BEST 2 games back of the final wild card spot with a loss to TB the chances for the playoffs are very remote. Why not start Campbell now to get his feet wet. Brunell isn't costing us games, but he's not winning them either. Get Campbell some snaps this year. Brunell has done well this year but I don't want to see him out there under center next season when it kicks off.. He has gotten progressively worse, yards are down, pass attempts are shorter, it's time to move forward with this team.

Like Paintrain said, they have no more realistic shot at the playoffs. I want to see what the kid can do. They don't like Ramsey and I think he's gonna leave after the season, so they might as well put in Campbell. But if they do, get ready for more mediocre games by Portis cause he won't get any blocking when our O Line has to compete with 8 in the box.

Just like Drew Brees there is always that optimistic possibility that Ramsey could perhaps win the starting position like Brees did in San Diego. He was on the verge of being traded too, especially when they draft a first round quarterback as well. Ramsey has already been partially developed, let the kid get another shot!!!!! IMO :) !!!!!

nope... it's time to go on that 5 game run, starting next week.
The only 5-game run we're close to is losing 5 games in a row. We need to be realistic. This is a 7-9 team, or 8-8 at best.

we'd need to lose at least one more... that said, brunell is probably starting next year, so I'm not sure it makes much sense... couldn't hurt to see what you've got, but we should at least wait till we're actually out of it.

I say it's definitely time to start another QB - my choice would be Ramsey. But since Gibbs has probably decided that Ramsey is a goner, then Campbell should start.

Brunell had an early string of good performances, but he's settled right back into the QB he was last year. I am tired of seeing winnable games slip away because this offense can't get the job done and that includes Brunell's mediocre performances.

If he starts next year, I'll be sick.

Usually you and I are in total agreement; at least with respect to Ramsey. However, I don't think Brunell has been all that bad. He throws the ball away a little too often (whereas Ramsey never throws it away), but I think our offensive woes do not lie at Brunell's feet.

you cant blame brunnel for all these losses. We cant run the ball in the fourth quarter when we need to.nor stop anybody when we need to.
