Who's a Better Coach: Gibbs or Schottenheimer?

AND the defense has as well. The defense has lost the last three games for us.
You cant win putting up 17 points.... Gibbs has no killer instinct.... we have 2 lesser games coming up watch everybody get all excited... THE BUCK STOPS WITH GIBBS!!!

i agree 110% on that one. whenever gibbs has any sort of lead, whether it's 3 points, 1 point, or 2 points, he never plays with a sence of urgency. He doesn't go for the kill, he goes for the wound. What i mean by that is he'll be satisfied if we have any sort of lead. It has hurt us 3 times in the last three games, and he needs to start being aggressive on offense in the fourth quarter if he wants to win some more games.

This thread is quickly getting ugly. I hesitate to lock it because I hate to shut down debate. But, I hate to see a thread devolve into a discussion about postsers. Let's all play nice.

another amazing quote from joe gibbs after the game. "I think we fought our hearts out". That's nice, but you say that after every loss. At least stop being so conservative in the fourth and try and put up an insurmountable lead.
Norv used to say that kind of stuff!!! Try cutting poeple and clearing the gatorade table!!

As for Gibbs saying, "I think our guys fought their guts out," what is he supposed to say? Is he supposed to say, well our team stinks, we're going to lose next week and every week thereafter, and I'm going to quit?

Why do we question gibbs in head to head matches with the coaches he loses to?

Tough to answer straight up but Marty did go 0-5 his first five games here in D.C. and turned it around and finished 8-8.

I say we skip games and see how good GIBBS is and have him fist fight other Coaches.
Seems players are not accountable and games are 100% won by Coaches.

If this is True Minnesota may win the Super Bowl.
