jdlea 11-25-2005, 07:39 PM I wouldn't stay with the Redskins because of the way he's been treated by this team. There's always been a quick hook for him, even when he was a rookie. He gets the hook from Gibbs before he even has one start for him.
I also thinks there's a good chance he finds a starting job somewhere. The Jets were interested because they thought he could start. He's as good as anyone the Cards have because Warner's almost done. He could even start in Miami. There's plenty of places he could start. There's no chance I'd stay here if I were Ramsey.

If Ramsey thinks he can be a starter in the league (which I think he can be), he should ask for his release or a trade after the season. The way he's acted throughout his career thusfar, as far as how classy he has been handling poor situations, the Redskins should grant it to him.
SmootSmack 11-25-2005, 08:28 PM It's going to be an interesting offseason for QBs. We could see a lot of young QBs looking for a change of scenery on the market. Besides Ramsey, Harrington, Carr, Griese, Simms, Pennington, Boller (ugh!), Schaub, Garrard (I think those two are FA's this offseason) could all be out there. Then you've got Leinart and Young (if he comes out).

Here's my question. If we do let Ramsey go, do we bring any of those other guys in here? I've always really liked Harrington.
skindogger47 11-26-2005, 01:44 PM Ramsey is as good as gone, and has been since Joe Gibbs went down to Auburn's campus a few days before the draft.
EternalEnigma21 11-26-2005, 02:57 PM I don't like harrington much. I'd rather see Ken Dorsey come in and be a backup. He shined in Miami, but he's playing on a talentless team with not much support... plus he'd be cheap.

I liked Harrington as well coming out, but the word on him is he doesn't take his job that serious, much different than Ramsey.
In the past Gibbs could win with just about anyone at QB, now it seems the tables might have turned.
Rockinganker 11-27-2005, 01:54 PM Lets not forget, the Skins have a way of giving up a QB to another team that seems to come back in their face. The Trent Green situation still burns my ass. Seems the organiziation doesn't really know what to look for in a QB. Hopefully, Gibbs knows what it takes to to successful in the NFL. All I ask, if they release Ramsey, make sure he does not have the characteristics needed to burn us with another team later down the line. Everybody seems to like a former Redskin but, I hate when they are on the other side of the field kickin our asses. Hopefully after today we'll be 6-5...Go Skins!
skinsfan0201 11-27-2005, 05:25 PM RAMSEY should be starting IMO!!!!!
