saskin 11-21-2005, 08:25 PM I can't wait for Sunday, Bolts are going down. Team now has a chip on its shoulder. When was the last time this team we the underdog? Seems like the Skins play their asses off when they are expected to lose. I say bad mouth the team as much as possible, make 'em play. Go Skins!
They were supposed to have a chip on their shoulder after Tampa...

How can they have a chip on their shoulder when Gibbs makes them think the game was taken away from them with bad calls. From the moment the game ended he started badmouthing the refs. I'm sure the whole team was bitching about the pin stripes all week and not about how they sucked on D. So, hopefully there should be a real big chip on their shoulder that Says "You guys suck". That should get them going.
Luxorreb 11-22-2005, 08:00 AM What if Alstott was ruled down by contact and this past Sundays play wasn't ruled dead until the runner was down? 2 different outcomes. Both decided by officials. Sure we shouldn't have been in that position but we've been in that position 8 of 10 games. Why would I give up now? Redskins have 6 regular season games left. Things bounce right for us we'll be atleast in the wildcard game. NEVER SAY DIE! If you're not a real fan you should try the NYG fansite or possibly the Colts fansite. As for offseason talk, save it til after Christmas, please.
bertoskins 11-22-2005, 08:17 AM well for me playoff or not
I will feel compensated when we again beat dallas and revenge on the giants
heybigstar 11-22-2005, 10:36 AM If i knew we would beat NYG and Dallas at home, id say we have a legit shot at the playoffs.
railcon56 11-23-2005, 02:32 AM Tell you one thing, I will be just as loud against the bolts as I was against the Raiders, which was screaming the ENTIRE game when we were on Defense. Yes that included the last drive that they had. If anyone around me asks me to sit down or be quiet then they will prob get screamed at. Go skins and even tho I think this season will end bad, I will never give up hope!
perfect love it i feel exacty the same..
5RINGS 11-23-2005, 09:11 AM NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT. i am gonna say the exact thing i said in the other thread
We were supposed to win 1 out of Tampa and Eagles, 3 of the next 4 and 2 of the last 3 division games. WE DID WIN 1 out of tampa and ealges and we have lost one but if we win our next three we are money and back on track, had we won the raiders and lost to the chargers the season wouldn't be over! ITS NOT OVER! until we lose two more no way i bend over and take it.
who knows giants playing the seahawks at seahawks, and dallas playing denver we could be only one game behind. the next week giants and dallas play each other and one has to lose,so i am told, and we might be tied with one of them sons a bitches, we are going for the division and not stopping till we get there.
THE BEAST OF THE EAST!! anyone with me? The beast of the east?, th the b beas o the hell with it. :(
Hello Redskin fans. I feel your pain, I really do. I did not see that loss to the Raiders coming, but all is not lost. You have a bunch of Tough vets who should be able to carry the day in the locker room. You have a HOF coach who won't give the season away.
But a challenge looms: Can you get yours against the Chargers?
Philly stopped LT in Philly, and your Defense must do the same. Once again, you face an all world TE in Gates. I really hope you don't try and cover him with an LB or even a banged up SS/Taylor cause he will eat your lunch if you try that.
So what needs to be done? Simply, turnovers have come back to haunt you. Some voodoo or juju has shrunk Brunells hands because every swat and jostle seems to have produced fumbles from him. You have found new offensive contributors in Cooley, Sellars and someone has to step up opposite of Santana Moss.
(On the topic of Moss, it seems that the year of the small reciever hitting big numbers is over. Glenn on Dallas is a shadow of his former self, double teams have rendered him invisible, And I think if Someone doesn't emerge on the other side Moss' numbers might dwindle as well. Steve Smith is still hitting em up in Carolina though.)
Good Luck vs the Bolts. Please beat them so I can stop hearing about how their tough schedule might knock them out of the playoffs. Actually it is their sad Win/Loss record that will keep them out of the playoffs.

thank you for your words of encouragement, i however must be honest that i do not wish the cowboys any luck at all. As i am eating my Turkey you can be sure that i will be throwing biscits, bread, corn, mashed potatoes, and of course pieces of turkey at the TV as i watch the games.
Denver must beat Cowboys
Detroit must beat Atlanta
skinzfan44 11-23-2005, 10:44 AM I don't know guys. I'm starting to get that bad feeling in my stomach that I get every time around this year..It started in Denver, picked up speed against Tampa, and I'm scared it will boil over vs. the bolts.
PS. That Tampa game really hurt bad!!!!!!

BSB, I know how much fun it is too root against a team you hate, so don't feel as if I don't get giddy when the Niners/Packers/AFC get it handed to them.
I have broken tv's over seeing that F@##ING ball that little Notre Dame QB tried to throw out of bounds but didn't have the arm strength to do it and Clark jumps higher than anyone would have thought possible and.........
anyhow, what i am saying is that I feel you mah nizzle. It's part of the fun to get a hate on for particular teams. I can tell the Dallas really works your gag reflex. So be it. I won't speak to Packer fans. Tomayto, Tomahto.
But if Dallas manages to beat Denver - even I think there is a chance that they might not win and I have been picking the Cowboys as SB champs every year since '77 - I'll be over the fricken moon. But I won't celebrate here. I'll save that for the rematch at FedEx.
