Tried not to involve myself with this thread. Thought it would fade.
But it didn't so here ya go. Starting Ramsey or Campbell at this point in the season with no major injury to Brunell is defeatest. I'm not willing to scrap the season yet. Any of those who are I beg ya to find a different team. I've been here thru the lean years, superbowl years and more lean years. Jack Pardee to Norv Turner. You wanna call for starting the 2nd string then go buy a copy of madden 2k6. Maybe LJ Smith will catch your prayer. With Cowboys loss today we're very much alive in the NFC East with 6 games remaining. Let's not hear that the season's over til it is. If ya don't believe then go join the Colts website asap. IN GIBBS I TRUST!!!

True, but I don't think our losses can be attributed to Brunell. Aside from Cooley and Moss, we haven't had any receiving threats and Mos has been effectively neutralized the past few weeks. Moreover, while our defense has played pretty well, our pass rush sucks. I don't think we can blame Brunell for a lack of a pass rush or decent #2 and #3 wideouts.

Exactly, I agree! What I meant by saying Brunell is 5-5 is to remind people of the entire season. The defeatests who want to throw in the towel now ignore the first three games in order to paint a different picture of Brunell. I believe this is just for some type of justification to put the entire blame on the quarterback.

How does putting in another QB help the defense to put more pressure on the opposing team's qb? How does it help us to cover the other team's receivers more? It's an agrument that is always the easiest to turn to. Anything that goes wrong, it must be immediately blamed on either the quarterback or the coach.

We have little to no spark on offense. Remeber when Ramsey came in late last season? That lit everyone up and I think it would give Campbell a great way to take the reins.
Very Good ...and open things up this is 2005 not 1979 lol but with Patrick he has paid his dues

If the "Brunell experiment" fails this year, it will show that Gibbs did in fact make a terrible error in judgment by signing him and making him the starter this year.

The decision to start Brunell looked brilliant for a couple games, and it still could turn out that way. However, if we finish 8-8 or 7-9, I think Coach Gibbs will deserve some flack for benching Ramsey and anointing Brunell the starter, especially because it will mean being back at square one when it comes to the QB position.
Yes this one your right
