Taylor Jacobs starting Sunday

Weeell, it's Sunday night. it's after the game. The Redskins lost. And I didn't see anything in Mr. Jacobs that makes me wish he was a starter.

Course we just had to keep throwing it at him......long ball, too....

I had the same reaction. Sooner or later, it will dawn on all of us that if Taylor Jacobs was worth all the hype he gets, he'd have been starting by now. Gibbs gave him all the opportunities in the world today. Fly pattern after fly pattern, and Jacobs simply could not get separation from otherwise average Raider defensive backs.

However, today was a dreadful showing of the entire offense. So I'm not going to get on his case just yet. If he's non-factor against the Chargers next week, then we're in trouble. Not just because he could be a bust of a second-round pick, but because he's the last receiver left if Thrash's pulled hamstring turns out to be serious. The rest are just practice squad guys.
