I don't think a thursday costume relates to a sunday performance.

Either way, it needs to be stopped. Its like they're concentrating more on that then winning. They're paying Portis to be a running back, not a comedian. I don't see what the problem is. If we were winning, no one would be talking about Portis' costumes. Does anyone think the costumes are actually hurting the team? I personally think that they are funny and aren't costing the team a thing. saskin 11-20-2005, 11:01 PM I don't see what the problem is. I think they're funny as well, but if we're continue to lose then I think that the press conferences will have to be stopped. I shudder at the thought of what San Diego could possibly do to us next week..... Rockinganker 11-20-2005, 11:07 PM I don't see anything wrong with his Thursday dress-up. CP and the media enjoy it week after week. The only time ppl get mad is when he has a bad game. The NFL should be fun and entertaining, that's the whole reason it was created. Fans, myself included, tend to take games very seriously. So when they/we lose the thought of a player messing around bugs the crap out of us. Just remember, he's a young kid with a good spirit...let him be. sniks 11-20-2005, 11:07 PM I don't see what the problem is. If we were winning, no one would be talking about Portis' costumes. Thats the whole point we arent winning. It doesnt affect the team directly on the field but it kinda looks like your not taking things too seriously. Not a big deal deal just doesnt seem appropriate. saskin 11-20-2005, 11:10 PM I don't see anything wrong with his Thursday dress-up. The only thing this shows is he's not taking it seriously. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-20-2005, 11:14 PM He's being paid millions of dollars to play a kids game. Not jack around every week with reporters. The only thing this shows is he's not taking it seriously. From what I can gather, he's taking his job very seriously. Supposedly, CP was at Redskins Park more than almost any other player during the offseason. He was supposedly working out like an animal. I don't think CP's costumes are a real issue. They're funny and that's about it. steveo395 11-20-2005, 11:19 PM as long as he's not spending time thinking of costumes instead of studying game film or something i dont really care...the costumes don't really look like they take that long to think of. all of them just has a wig, some glasses, and some gay shirt irish 11-21-2005, 08:45 AM Hopefully CP will dress like a football palyer this week. |
