Do the Raiders fear us because we can be a formidable adversary (when not commiting NFL suicide), or do they think we are ripe for the picking?

MTK 11-15-2005, 11:10 AM The Raiders have plenty of their own problems starting with their 3-6 record. If anybody is ripe for the picking it would be the Raiders with that 24th ranked D. Our offense needs to be sharp and run it up on these guys so the D can't blow it. jdlea 11-15-2005, 11:18 AM I think the Raiders game should be a win, but when Randy Moss watches Sunday's game film, I'm sure he's licking his chops. Granted it will be tougher with Sean Taylor back there, but he has to believe that if he lines up one-on-one with Rogers or Harris he's going for 6. What is the REAL status of Cornelius Griffin , and ST? Daseal 11-15-2005, 11:38 AM This should be a win, but I have a feeling we'll see lots of 3+ WR sets with Moss, Porter and the Speedy Curry. We better find a way to stop them! murphy196 11-15-2005, 11:41 AM If the DBs don't show up it's going to be a long game for us. Walt Harris is pathetic, why is he on the roster? BDBohnzie 11-15-2005, 11:43 AM Don't have to worry about Ronald Curry...out again for the season. The Raiders may be 3-6, but they are 2-2 in their last 4, losing close games to interdivision rivals (I realize 31-17 isn't close, but it was close til LJ broke for that TD late). While their defense may be 24th overall, they will always try to outgun their opponents with their offense. Lamont Jordan is proving himself to be a very good back, and Randy Moss is itching to have a breakout game. The Skins need to work on less giveaways, more takeaways, and not letting receivers get behind them in zone coverage. If they can do this, Brunell should be able to throw all day, open it up for Portis, and give the Skins a big win. Big C 11-15-2005, 11:55 AM isnt charles woodson out too? hes their best defensive player. this is a must win, if we lose i think we are in really bad shape at 5-5 skins052bgr8 11-15-2005, 01:14 PM I have to think the Raiders and every other team are going to go deep on us. If we continue to not get pressure on the blitz and leave our corners on the island. One of them are going to get beat over the top. We need to play smart solid ball. We are not getting pressure with the blitz so just rush the 4 keep being solid on stopping the run leave Spring 1 on 1 and double the others with a backer or a safety and a corner. Sounds simple but I am sure it has got to be more complicated. We should play strong at home and win this game. #56fanatic 11-15-2005, 01:24 PM What is the REAL status of Cornelius Griffin , and ST? i believe he is going to be OUT AGAIN. Taylor should be playing, according to Gibbs. |
