Even if your position tha tthe head coach doesn't have a say on the defense and Williams calls all the shots I'm sorry yes Williams prefers veterans but he has played Rookies in the past if a player shows he's capable on handling the job he will put it he hates dumb mistakes thats why he preferes veterans but he won't deny a Rookie to play if he belives he gives him the best chance to win and be succesfull.

And right now not williams or gibbs believe he gives them the best chance

he's already had injury trouble and some missed training camp... sean taylor who has all world potential didn't start till his 3rd game and he idn't miss any practice time up till then.

the league is tougher that when champ entered and he got the tutledge of D.Green and Deon Sanders...We should hire Darrell as a consultant for the young corners

Actually Deion wasn't on the team until Champ's 2nd year and as I remember Champ had a very good rookie season.

For everybody saying that Rogers should be playing, I'd like to know where your blind faith in the coaching staff went. When Brunell was named the starter a lot of us heard, "Who are you to question Joe Gibbs" or "To think you know more than the coaching staff is asinine."

What happened to all that? How come no one is getting laid into for saying that Carlos Rogers should start.

As for Walt Harris letting a guy get behind him with 3 minutes left, Rogers did the same thing with like 5, maybe 8 minutes left and it was the same guy. Rogers has been on the field primarily as a nickel back and hasn't excelled at that in the least.

And finally, every analyst around the NFL generally accepts the theory that Cornerback is the easiest transition from college to the pros. So comparing it to a QB's transition to the NFL isn't even close. It's apples and oranges.

Corner is the easiest transition from college to the pros??

Who said that?

It's usually thought that RB is the easiest, corner may not be as difficult as QB, which is the toughest position in all of sports, but corner is not an easy transition and certainly not the easiest.
