Tayler is more that a safety. He is a playmaker. He will make teams fear throwing the ball down the middle of the field or even deep. He will all so give G. Williams a lot of flexibility on what kind of schemes to design. He's gonna have to come up with some good stuff with our d-line. IF tayler is gone trade down and pick vince wilfork. Please don't draft Winslow.

Gmanc711 I hope your right and not run him over but give him the freak injury. As you can see I am not a real big Bowen fan, to me he falls in the same divison as Jeff George.

Bowen and Ohalete are not very good. They are adequate at best. Plus the Free Safety position is a very important piece to a successful defense. All the recent Superbowl winners had at least one good safety.
While I understan some of you folks that would like to have a fantasy league offense by adding Winslow... Repairing our defense and creating a balanced roster is more important. I don't want to be the KC Chiefs.

Earlier Defense said that Bowen wasn't a very good safety. Do you agree or disagree with that assertion? I am just curious. I guess I thought he was adequate and that he seemed to get some good press. What were your observations of him at Mini-Camp? Thanks

Would you call Bowen or Ohelete a very good safety? No, I certainly would not. They are adequate at best. Sothat is why I say they are not very good.

Iffy keeps improving. Wasnt he an undrafted player? id say hes come a long way and is only getting better. He did come up with some big plays last year. Hes not elite, probably not even very good. But it wouldnt be the end of teh world if we had to use them again. THe extra depth at corner and better schemes should help.
