jeez...wow...poor guy. He seems like a decent guy and was clearly a quality player. I hope everything is OK and he can get back on the field safely but if not he should go to the carribean, sip margaritas and chill. No reason to be getting paralyzed.
He is, he played football the same year my younger brother did, and they were rivals, but off the field he just another guy.....of course with millions of dollars

Chrebet might retire, it's been his 9th concussion. As for Holmes, that really sucks. He was one of the best backs in the league, but he was getting old. Best of luck to him, and if he risks paralysis, he should definitely call it quits.

Priest you will be missed. Solid citizen, great football player whom I've enjoyed watching from his days in Baltimore. I hope all works out well for him. Goes to show one never knows what the future is for players in the NFL.

Great runner who had the good sense to get the hell out of Baltimore. I hope he recovers and comes back to play.

espnis reporting the injury is most likely not career threatening...he will probably miss the season because test results will take a month tho...

I've got a lot of respect for the guy; hope this isn't too serious. My thoughts go out to him too.

Not to sound callous, but I have Larry Johnson on my fantasy team so this cloud has a silver lining for yours truly.
