I reply I just posted in another thread got me thinking. I wonder if it has crossed Gibbs' mind to keep Gardner to use for the trick plays, since he was a QB.
What other trick plays of the old Gibbs era do you guys want to see brought back. I would love for us to have a versatile guy playing whatever the middle man is call on a punt formation. That used to always be Mitchell. How often do we see any fake snaps anymore. Gibbs always had a great playbook. What do you guys think he'll pull out form his sleeve this year.

My favorite play was when gibb's would pull all his guard's and tackle's sending the left G and T to the right side, and sending the right G and T to the left, criss crossing each other, then sending the QB on a controlled roll out while he would hit the TE 20 yds. down field on a waggle for a big gain, when you watch this play on a replay it's absolutly histerical to see the reaction of the defense especially the middle LB's, thier left standing there practically scratching thier head's, that was alway's my favorite.

Hey now, give my Spurrier some credit, he had some excellent trick plays! I like the barker pass to Ohalate!

The best play he ran was a straight ahead hand off to Gibb's. lol.

haha. Even that was a trick play, he meant to hike the ball to Danny Wuerful but Gibbs picked it off

I have to admit my favorite "trick play" was more of a "trick adjustment". We were playing Dallas; Gibbs came out of halftime and overstacked one side of the line so that it went G - C - G -T - T. He then ran about 9 - 10 straight running over the stacked side and just steamrolled in for a touchdown. We ended up losing the game but it was great fun to watch the defensive linemen ponder their fate - two of em were just getting crushed, while the other got exhausted trying to chase the play down from behind.
Classic Gibbs

The great thing about having Coles now is that Gibbs isnt afraid to open it up after a few runs. I see coles having huge numbers this year. Dont forget though that when Brunell was in Jacksonville he made two busts star receivers. He was great and spreading the ball around. Hes giong to have plenty of weopens to do the same next year if he starts.

Which "busts" are you referring too in Jacksonville? Jimmy Smith? He's far from a bust!
