PASS DEFENSE
C -- Arrington got run over by Jeremy Shockey on the Giants TE's touchdown. Pass-rushing specialist LB Chris Clemons forced a fumble on his first sack of the season. Ex-Giants SS Ryan Clark saved seven more with an interception in the end zone to end New York's next drive. Sean Taylor had a stupid personal foul. Harris had 10 tackles as the Giants were held to 146 yards on 12 catches.

He didn't get run over, he couldn't hang on when he was trying to wrap him up. He was behind him and didn't bring him down when he missed the tackle. It wouldn't have mattered that much if he did make the tackle, they would have been on like the 2

Saying he got "run over" is a bit of an overstatement. Shockey basically slipped LaVars tackle attempt.

Lavar Aint Get Run Over He Was Trying To Go For The Rap Up And For The Fumble And Missed, but If He Wouldve Just Focused For The Rap Up Shockey Wouldve Been Down, any Wayz It Doesnt Matter.Any Ways They Wouldve Scored On A Field Goal Or Td .It Wouldve Mattered If It Wouldve Been On The 20 Yrd Line And He Ran It All The Way and lavar missed.
Yeah he didn't get bowled over or anything, he just missed the tackle. One of many missed tackles on the day by the defense.

1) There is virtually no one in the league that can bring Shockey down from around the shoulders
2) LaVar tried to do just that
3) LaVar gets run over
He didn't get blasted or plowed, or decleated, but he did get run over.
Piss poor tackling was widespread on Sunday, and this was a prime example.

I thought you had to sort of be in front of a person for them to run you over. Lavar was coming in from behind at an angle.

Campbell was the LB that got trucked in the end zone. He looked very very JV on that play.

My thoughts exactly.. So I guess using that logic if I run into a rear bumper of a car and hit the ground I was run over by a car?
