Any significant adjustements and any chance to turn the momentum with a fresh start were out the window with Betts butter fingered fumble...

JWsleep 10-31-2005, 09:28 PM I agree. The Betts fumble really blew all that up. Depressing, given that we were only down 19, even after having been badly outplayed. TOs will kill ya every time. It's getting to be like a broken record. Also, why is it that EVERY time the other team drops it, it bounces right to one of their guys? Seems like that's been happening way too much. That has to begin to even out, or the laws of physics are broken. wolfeskins 10-31-2005, 09:33 PM i've never liked Betts as our return man. redrock-skins 10-31-2005, 10:48 PM Any significant adjustements and any chance to turn the momentum with a fresh start were out the window with Betts butter fingered fumble... I would have to say Tiki? I have heard the argument that we stopped him last year, but you got to realize this is a better Giants team with a passing game that alone makes Tiki' s SO MUCH better, so how could have the skins not made it a point, either by schemes, or 8 in the Box, or whatever to stop their best player. TIKI BARBER. I would rather take my chances with a QB making his 13th start then with a 9 year Pro Bowl RB who is pretty explosive. Or did we try to stop Tiki? I hope to god not ... celts32 11-01-2005, 06:17 PM The Redskins were so not ready to play that it's hard to tell exactly what they were trying to accomplish. With the halfassed effort they put forth it didn't matter if they tried to take away Tiki or not. Both lines were blown off the ball on almost every play... |
