What does this mean? Have we reached a New Age of Reason? Nice to see that the thread's focus was about promoting humor rather than bitterly complaining about something.

we really needed humor when this thread was created. the skins were in a serious funk and this thread turned things around for them.

Dude I swear if you do not start with this thread everyday at 8am, you end up getting so lost trying to jump into it about an hour later.

that has been my problem this summer. I am up all night and no one is online posting anything so when i wake up threads have progressed so far it is impossible to jump back in. I don't know where the gtripp thread went to.

I saw them last summer at Merriweather, and they did play a lot of their newer stuff, so me and my friends were pretty bored. but if the BSB is right, that they're playing more of a mix, leaning towards older stuff, then no way should they break up.

first time i saw them was at my wife's college, sitting in a lawn chair, putting away 2/3rds of a 30 pack. saw Carbon Leaf, Virginia Coalition and Jah Works that weekend as well.

They should definately play a mix. Everyone there went crazy when they played poker. I hate a lot of the new stuff. I guess they understand that the people that actually come out to see them like the older stuff. They have decided to be a top 50 band forever with this new stuff though. Atleast they are making more money this way.

Yeah I feel your pain BSB. Same deal here, it seems that whenever I am away people post like crazy.

I saw OAR last summer for the first time (which is odd because I've liked them since I was freshman in college back in 2000) and I really thought they were bad. Their set list was not put together well, they played some of their most popular songs right in the middle of the set and ended with newer/slower songs. And I feel like they played a few songs then left the stage for about 10 minutes then came back and played some more, then left, then came back, so that was weird.
I had fun because I was with a ton of friends, but it was pretty disappointing overall. Oh yeah, and the sound quality at Merriweather sucked balls from the lawn seats.
