Seemed like everyone was going for strips yesterday instead of wrapping up and making the tackle.

Yesterday was just a debacle on both sides of the ball. Hopefully it will serve as a wake up call. Blowing out the 49ers was probably the worst thing to happen heading in to a game like this.

Harris was horrible yesterday. He got consistantly beat, and the one play (where he was going for the strip rather than the tackle), he was getting pulled around like the metaphoric "bandwagon" of yore.

I agree Harris looked pretty bad yesterday. Misreading routes and overpursuing. It was the worst game I can remember from him, but that goes for most of the team.

they must have gotten cocky or something. to lose 36-0 in a key nfc east game means you didn't prepare, and didn't show up.

Did it occur to anyone that we have three ex Chicago Bears on the right side of our defense? Walt Harris, Philip Daniels, Warick Holdman. none of the three played very well. While Smoot and Champ were beaten like drums yesterday, they are two defensive players that we drafted who departed and are playing for other teams even if it's not very good at times. I feel it's worth noting that unless LaVar starts playing regularly in a starting role, we only have one player we drafted starting on the defense. Sean Taylor.

Marshall had some good plays on Sunday, especially on the screen he sniffed out and beat the ball carrier to the spot where the screen was being set up.

yes, but pierce was around the ball all day, making tackle after tackle. i think we really miss his presence in the defense

Yes losing Pierce was extremely unfortunate in my opinion, but a product of salary cap which stinks. I heard he was really upset about the ordeal and keeps up with Redskins players/friends. :) He was a great quarterback for the defense, something we might be missing this year! :) Teams need that, like John Lynch to the Bucs..... (when he played there)

Pierce wasn't worth the price the Gmen paid for him, same with Smoot.
I'll take Marshall Arrington and Washington. Next time at Fed Ex the Gmen won't have any curse of a dead owner. Just the wrath of a HOF coach.
