What team was that? It sure wasnt the skins of the past two years. We cannot stop off tackle runs to the right. Brunell went back to last year. Pat Ramsey looked like a rookie. Robert Royal dropped 4 (at least) passes- everypne else droped at least one. We did everything we could to play like the Niners last week. This was the last thing I expected. About the only person who played a game was Cooley - and he fumbled too.
No idea where that came from. No idea what comes next. The only thing I know is I would hate to be a Skin next week during practice.
We will learn much in the next two weeks.
P.S. I think I will take a break from boards/ articles/ meadia till after next weeks game. Wonder if I can stay drunk for a week :(

Seriously, that was beyond horrible. I seriously cant think of a single solitary positive to come from that game. It was so fucking bad.

No team beats the Redskins like the Redskins. Don't worry it's far from over in the race for the NFC East. It was kind of wierd to see our team playing without any spirit and really out of the entire game.

That's what happen's when your measuring stick is the 49'ers, Tiki ran for a carreer high against a top rated defense, while Clinton did nothing against one of the worst rated defenses in the NFL, no doubt who the better back is, although I believe Clinton would take Tiki in a cartwheel contest.
It is also official our O-line is so ridiculously overated it's not even funny, we have all the names, the Giants have a bunch of nobodies and guess who dominated?
Our O-line is no match for a good defensive line, the problem with Brunell today? He didn't have that huge buffer to throw like he has had the last few weeks, he did have some time to throw just not comfortable time, there were alway's defenders around him, further more I can't help but believe that Ray Brown at this point in his carreer is really a solution at backup, Wilson did a nice job last season why we didn't hang on to a young lineman to keep Brown makes no sense, Brown is going no where fast.
Allstar Lavar really made a huge difference today as well, what a playmaker, the guy can't even make a routine tackle, Shockey went through him like a hot knife through butter, and is it me or did all the Giants big runs go right through his area?
Here's my all packup team, as in they should pack their things and hit the road.
Samuels
Lavar
Portis
I could only imagine the kind of O-linemen we could have right now for what these guy's are being paid.

Wait a minute. Samuels was injured early in the second quarter. He's been solid so far this season.

Yeah, this loss cannot be blamed on one, two, or three particular player(s). The entire team played horribly. The defense, as a unit, is getting worse in their tackling each week. Our offensive line couldn't protect the quarterback. I saw NO decent protection for Brunell or Ramsey. Only a play or two did I see either QB have time to set and throw. The receivers couldn't get open downfield and when they were open, they dropped the football. Portis has been playing hurt. This is a team loss - everybody has a share in the blame from every player to every coach down to the waterboy.
LOL and out comes the chicken littles

Brunell could not throw deep in that stadium and the Giants gameplanned for it. I don't know why, but his arm looked old like last year. Even Manning's passes looked ugly, but he is used to that god awful place. If this offense can't threaten deep then we are plain vanilla. I hope Portis starts to take this job more seriously. He doesn't really scare anyone like he did in Denver. Right now he is way overpaid. Lastly it appears Wynn and Daniels are not stopping the run and seeing as how neither has had a sack in like two years what are they doing on the field? I think Lavar needs to be a full time DE.

Like I said, this loss can't be blamed on one particular player. This was a team loss. Wasn't just Brunell's, Portis', or Lavar's. I'm sure people will find a way to blame it one one of the three, but the team as a whole didn't show up to play.
