I went to UMD and love Novak as much as anyone, BUT, people are making him sound like one of the greatest kickers ever. If Hall is injured, then by all means put him on IR and play Novak, but if Hall is healthy, no way we should waste a roster spot on an additional kicker. As an aside, most experts are picking us to win against the Giants, which is disturbing...I'm used to the "no-love" disrespect from the football analysts and experts. I hope he kicks it deeper than the thirty, losing that field position advantage from kick offs could pose some issues through the whole day. I can't help but not even want to give the slightest edge that could come back and haunt us. We need the short field advantage this game and just blow it out.
