Terry Bradshaw had alot to say at the beging of this year and last year. He thought Gibbs was crazy for going with Brunell this year and thought the game had past him by. I will give Bradshaw credit for admitting he was wrong and that he should of never questioned Gibbs abilties or Brunells. How many other announcers are going to ack like men and admit they were wrong.

Brunell reborn
I have never been as impressed with one guy as I have thus far this season by Mark Brunell. I will say it again. I will never, ever again question Joe Gibbs, one of the greatest coaches ever, when he says someone still has some football in him. We all thought Mark Brunell was done and all he does is throw for three more touchdowns and keep the Redskins in the playoff race.
Gibbs has ironed out and firmed up the protection for Brunell this season and apparently he knew more than me when he benched Patrick Ramsey. I didn't understand bringing back Brunell, but now I do.
What a stroke of genius it was to acquire Santana Moss from the Jets. Moss has been a home-run hitter for this team ever since he caught those two post routes to beat the Cowboys. Now, those two Brunell passes were as good as any quarterback has thrown this season.
Right now, Brunell is my comeback player of the year. He deserves to be in the Pro Bowl. You hear people saying that Brunell won't last the season, but so far so good. Gibbs is doing a lot of smart things with his offense. He is scheming like he always does to find ways to get Moss in man-to-man coverage. He is dictating formations to the opponents. If they want to roll their coverage toward Moss, then he simply gashes them by running Clinton Portis.
Washington has a serious chance to be good as long as the defense continues to play well and keep the offense in the game. The NFC East should be a great race until January.
The praise is starting to roll out, but watch the floodgates open when we pound the Giants. ;)

Agreed. I fully expect the fawning to reach nausea level when we follow the defeat of the Giants with the demolition of the Eagles.
I just hope that the team can stay out of all the hype. The way Portis is dressing they certainly seem to be keeping a sense of humor.

Bradshaw is a real shoot-from-the-hip, emotional kind of announcer, so he often says stupid things. That being said, I have been impressed with the crow he has eaten. Can't say I ever really respected him for his breakdown of games, but it seems he is an honest guy.
If we can pull off a solid victory over the Giants we'll be top ten on all the lists. Not that any of that matters...

Probably not many. We're already better tahn what 80% of them thought and you don't see a mad rush to compliment yet.
Terry's a man. He was quick to draw "first blood" condemning the Skins (along with everybody else) early on. He seperates himself from the rank and file media trash by stepping to the plate to eat his fair share of crow! Like the Walters article said: It's a great time to be a Redskins Fan!!!!!!!!!!!

I always liked Bradshaw, hes kinda goofy sometimes but he really doesnt care what anybody thinks of him.He makes football commentating fun unlike all those other stuffy know it all commentaters. He says what he thinks and admits it when hes wrong. Not too many others will do that.

Bradshaw reminds me alot of Riggo:
A bit eccentric.
Easy to laugh off and assume he's "not that smart".
But he earned his way into the Hall of Fame and knows what he's talking about in analyzing players and coaches, generally.

Ah yes. The guy that they all make fun of on gameday realizes he made a mistake.
Seriously, I do like the guy because he just seems real to me. He just isn't the kind of guy I would want making important decisions on my behalf. I'm glad he realizes he was wrong. I'm sure plenty of other guys do too, they just are to stuck on them selves to admit thier mistake yet. You see, Terry can admit it because they all already think he is an idiot.
