As of right now, I'd take Ramsey. But if I had my pick and knew each of their potentials right now. I'd draft Carr (provided he wasn't gone at #1!)

Right now I would take Brunnel. He has gone through many more battles. I can only think of 3 QB's that started in their rookie year, and were successful...Marino, Manning (and just barely), and McNabb. Generally it takes a few years to fully understand a pro offense, not even to mention understanding a defense. I believe that Ramsey is the future here, but I think sitting out a year or two would do wonders for his ability to read defenses.

David Carr is a great QB, but out of the three ( harrington, carr, ramsey ) Ramsey has outplayed both of hte other two, thers no question about it. I'm one of the biggest Harrington fans out there too, I really love the guy but Ramsey is better than him and Carr, at least right now.

I love Ramsey as much as anyone, but Brunell just gives me a feeling of security and I'm sure Gibbs feels the same way.

There's no doubt that Ramsey has the tools, but I really think that right now Brunell is the guy to lead this team back to the playoffs next year.

This is the year the Eagles fall, the Giants rebuild, the Cowboys have already done what they can with the talent they have, which leaves the Redskins rebuilt and ready to shine!! We've got a schedule that isnt to hard, itll be so nice to get back into the playoffs again, I sure hope we do.

I agree that the Giants are a mess and that the Cowboys haven't done much to help themselves during the off season... however, as much as it pains me to say this, the Eagles are going to be pretty good this year.

They now have an elite receiver, but what have the 49ers done in the last few years with him?? Kearse is a great passrusher but not as solid against the run.. The main thing is there corners and linebackers will be suspect. They did pick up Dhani Jones, but still. If their running came doesnt prove its self, they dont have their three headed monster anymore (one is gone, the other coming off a big injury), then their passing game will suffer. I dont doubt that they will find ways to score but I think we can take them.

How about Lavar Arrington meet Donovan McNabb. Then Donnocan McNabb, meet Troy Aikmen, you will be his broadcasting parter on the 'Lavar Ended Us' show.

I don't think it's Ramsey's "job to lose" because that was before Gibbs and co. came to town. There's a whole new system to learn, so let the best man in an open competition win the job. Probably Brunell has the edge becuase he's better at reading NFL defenses, and Gibbs likes vets. I actually think that's as it should be. Ramsey got thrown into to the fire too quickly with Spurrier. Brunell first for a year, Ramsey the year after for the SB win.

It may have been good to let Ramsey learn a little longer, but we didnt have any other choices at the time. We really had to run with Ramsey, we knew Danny boy or Shane wasnt going ot take us anywhere.
