There are a few negatives from the last few games, but there is a glaring positive. We have a #1 wide receiver.
The WR's of this year are like the D-line of last year. Lights out. Moss is top shelf, Patten is fast enough to keep teams from diverting all of thier attention to Moss, Cooley is on pace for 800 yards, Thrash is clutch, and Jacobs could still break out.
Here is a chance for the doubters out there, the guys who screamed when we traded Coles, the guys who cryed when we passed on the WR's in the draft, to stand up and reassess thier position.
I thought we would be fine at WR and said so. I still never would have dreamed we would have the #1 WR in the NFL at this point.

what the hail are you talking about, we have a "BUNCH OF NUMBER TWOS" remember. Moss is to short but Antonio brown is gonna be great-----ahhh those were the days-------i am guilty of some of this too, we should have drafted mike williams remember. "no true number 1":food-smil :)
Man right now i feel like we have a number 1(the best number 1 at that) and 2 number 2s. Patten hasn't done what i hoped but thrash has done a good job. Thrash is our second best receiver

Thrash is our second best receiver
What are you talking about? :joke:
According to some on here Thrash was a wast and should be cut because his special teams play wont make up for his poor WR play.
I agree, our receivers are really good, maybe, just maybe that is one of the many reasons MB looked so bad last year? Just a thought...

Moss is plain awesome. I was watching the Dallas game, and in all his catches (this season), there's total concentration and poise. This last game in KC, I had my doubts that he'd pick up a lot of yardage but he broke away...for 72 yards. I have a feeling Patten will develop as we progress. Cooley is a dependable target and hard to bring down. Thrash is clutch and can pick up some good yards. All in all, I'm pleased with the recieving corps.

Moss currently leads all recievers in the league in yardage with 631yds. He's got about 40 yards on Steve Smith (even though smith has cought like 7 TDs) Whens the last time that happened. Hell he's tracking some nutty numbers, and he's over 19 yards a catch.
Coles by the way, has 289, avg. 11ypc and has 1TD. Well worth the nine mil.

Looks like Holt is ahead by 7 yards, now. But Holt, like most others in the top 10 has 6 games, Moss has only had 5 games to do more than those with 6.
