What we need

OK, I for one am not going to let this get me too down. I figured looking at the schedule, we could do 4-2 or 3-3 after 6 games. That would give us a positive going into the last 10 games, all of which figure to be tough. We have SF next week and if we aren't 4-2 by the end of next Sunday, then maybe we don't deserve to go to the playoffs.

However, what are your opinions on what we need now and in the draft?

I think:
Now - We need Arrington to suck it up, do as the coach wants and contribute. Holdman can't cut it as a starter. We also need our secondary to get healthy, or pick up another CB - I like Jimoh's attitude and commitment, but we can't rely on him like we can Springs. We need pass rush from somewhere. If it's not Arrington, then we have to see if we can change something on the DL - is there anyone in FA or possibly available in a trade?

Draft - regardless of this years results, we need upgrades at DE, LT, LG and LB. I just can't see Samuels and Dockery anchoring the left side of the line much longer. Maybe a better LG will improve Samuels? We must look for 2 pass rush specialists in the draft, 1 won't be enough. I also think we need a stand out MLB and, assuming Arrington is gone, a replacement WLB.

Your thoughts?

What we need is to score a god damn TDs in the redzone. It's like this team freezes when they get down there and something awful usually happens.

Samuels has played very well this year. KCs DE Allen must be on steroids or something. And Dockery is solid for the money he's paid. Possibly, we should've drafted two CBs in this past draft. As most of the rookie corners are proving their worth right now. I thought that we should've drafted a DT/DE and that Marshall added solid depth to our OLB corps but he's still a bit tenative in stopping the run that coming right at him. And WR? A big guy would help us.

We need Arrington to be more involved on the field, plain and simple. G William's scheme is brilliant, but beyond a point, you need both scheme and playmaking talent to win

Just ask one of the greatest Defensive geniuses - Bill Belichik - look at the way Denver and San Diego are slicing through his depleted defense. Denver lit up New England for almost 200 yards in a quarter. One quarter!!! The skins played Denver tight - this is a good Skins team - we need better run blocking, pass protection, and pass rush to be more successful.

Honestly, I'm going to say that basically the luck we've had the first 3 games is now running out. I mean SHIT, any fumble we force bounces right back into the fumber's hands. A big play or two with our turnovers is what caused this loss. We were fairly disciplined penaltly-wise. Jimoh sucks ass. However, again we owned both sides of the ball.

Turnovers AGAIN the difference in this ball game.

not sure what the defense needs, maybe just some healthy players but does anyone think we need another big time reciever?Santana cant do it all himself although he,s trying. We especially need 1 inside the redzone where moss,s speed is negated. His catches for the most part are outside the 20.

Our best offensive performances (aside from the Turnovers) have come in our two losses. This was different from past years (especially 2003).

We can cut down on TOs and develop better pass protection. The defense needs Springs and Arrington back.

My one concern is the fact that we are not able to run the ball. Damn it! Surely our passing game is getting enough respect now so that our running game can be more effective.

We are just weeks away from a Portis implosion - the guy is looking increasingly frustrated at the end of each game. The counter trey sucks balls.
