The Redskins are ranked 25th in total scoring and have a low redzone performance, can anyone tell me why haven't they used Nehemiah Broughton in the redzone to punch it in. I know, he has fumbled.... but I'll contribute that to preseason and rookie mistakes. He's on the active roster and atleast worth a shot.

I also feel we need some more corners. Especially after the last game, we have only 4 active corners and 2 of them were hurt agianst Denver. We also have 5 safeties, and 7 Linebackers. I'm sad to say it but, if we r not going to use Lavar lets deactivate him and move up a corner from the practice squad.

Turnovers to me are about taking a risk and making a play. To me, that is what Lavar's game is all about. I think that him not being on the field with some major minutes effects the turnover ratio directly. He brings pressure to the QB's and has the ability to move from sideline to sideline effortlessly. We need to get him in there.

What does the Warpath think. Could we being using the roster better, or is coaching staff doing the right thing?

I think he's doing the right thing.

On the corners, GW likes his safeties to be flexible so he can feel comfortable switching them to CB in a pinch. Prioleau and Clark have both played that role before. I don't think we need another CB on the roster, especially when we need to keep 2 kickers on the roster. And we need the LBs on the roster because so many of them are good special teamers.

On Nemo, I don't know if I'd go that route yet. We can't have fumbles. But I might try pounding Betts in there. He's a bit bigger than Portis. The lack of rushing TDs actually makes me question the power of the offensive line a little bit. No doubt they're athletic, but maybe they're just not getting the push we need to run it in? Also, I don't think we have a great blocking TE either, that doesn't help.

I want Lavar on the bench and I want him gone from the team, traded in the offseason. I can't stand him. I hate freelancing. I don't want to see one big play for us and then one big play against us because Lavar isn't where he's supposed to be.

I think the reason we're not getting interceptions is because we have to rush so many guys to get pressure on the QB. Then with so many guys coming at the QB, there aren't many players left in the secondary to make interceptions. If we could generate pressure with our front 4, I think we'd get more picks because we'd have more LBs and safeties back in coverage. Kinda like GW had with Kearse when he was with the Titans. They got INTs out the wazoo. But we don't have a Kearse, so I'm not sure we'll get a lot of picks this year. On fumbles, we've forced plenty of them, we just haven't recovered. So on fumbles I think it's just a matter of time before we land on them, I think the ball just hasn't bounced our way so far.

Actually, know what I'd like to see? Chris Clemons as a 3rd down pass rusher in 3rd & long situations. Maybe three linemen down, with Clemons as a standing edge rusher. He really got pressure on the QB at the end of last year. We're only starting to see him popping up a little bit in the last couple of games. He should be used more.

That is the person that I recommend being deactivated from the roster. If we're not gonna use him then bring in some who we will use, like a corner. I just get kinda uneasy when Jimoah and the rookie r our only two left. what would happen if one of them got hurt, then what

LaVar needs to be on the field some how. He is just too good to waste riding the pine. Could you imagine putting him in the backfield blocking for Portis. If nothing else LaVar should be playing special teams.

It's not like we have had lots of goal line situations guys. Nemo would help there but noweher else yet.

Here is a plan. Don't let Lavar get hurt this year. If he does, we are stuck with that huge contract.

If he stays healthy, someone gives up a high draft pick and we trade him.

(This wouldn't be my plan, but I think this may be what is going on).

why can't they just line him up at DE...pass rushing is supposed to be his best thing so that would get some pressure from the front 4

What the Redskins need to do is control the ball like they have been this season. But with that, they need to put some point up through the run game. And at this point in the season, I think a Kansas City team may be what the doctor ordered for Portis and our boys "the dirtbags". KC has a very weak D and if we can move the ball through the run game, the old Gibbs, play action pass, hit em deep will come out. Look for Patten to get open deep this week, thats right I said it, Patten. KC will not let Moss beat them, so the play action will go to Patten. I also believe Cooley will be more involved, will some deep outs, maybe some deep streaks up the middle. I think we can put up 30+ this week. The offense has to feel pretty good about what it did last week, yardage wise and it will translate to more points this week. Lets keep the D fresh and punch KC in mouth, ALL DAY!!!!

They need to give Nehemiah a chance I have been watching this man play since he was a jr. in high school. He has over come a lot to get to this level and has always rised to a challenge.
