Looking at Offensive and defensive overall statistics i noticed that only two teams were top 10 in both catagories in terms of yards/game.
The two teams were none other than DALLAS AND WASHINGTON
Dallas is ranked 7th in offense and 10th in defense
THe redskins are ranked 8 in offense and 5 in DEFENSE!!!
If you average the the rankings of offense and defense of all the teams the redskins come up first in the NFL, with an average of 6.5.
I just thought that this is a very interesting statistic that is reflected in our 3-1 record.
Offensive domination: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?sort=ypg&stat=team&pos=off&league=nfl&season=2&year=2005
Defensive domination: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?sort=ypg&stat=team&pos=def&league=nfl&season=2&year=2005
We still need to score more points but this shows us that we are very capable of being a dominant team
