First loss of the year and look who decides to write an article, Miss Negative herself.
I really hate Jenkins.

Gmanc711 10-10-2005, 12:18 AM Hey Sally, you are really, really ugly. So ugly in fact, I saw your face on the top of that article and clicked out becasue the ugliness was such a bitter, cold does of reality into my happy life.
Whatever. Sally is ugly. I'm not reading her garbage.
mooby 10-10-2005, 12:24 AM i can't believe she still has a job. when we win, it's like she doesn't want to be seen, but she's right there when we lose.
EternalEnigma21 10-10-2005, 12:25 AM I didn't think it was awful. She wasn't completely bashing us, it just sounded that way from the beginning. Her summary was correct, though. We can't have it both ways, we're either gonna be great, or we're gonna almost be great, and I'm sick of being a team that "should be"
It's not a bad article, but her negative tone is what annoys me, and the fact her first article of the season follows our first loss is really annoying.
skinsguy 10-10-2005, 12:28 AM Pastabelly should be finishing up the revision on his Redskins bashing article any minute now. Be looking for it tomorrow no later than midday!
BigSKINBauer 10-10-2005, 12:29 AM she jumps from one extreme to another. retard. i don't even know what she wanted to get across in that article. We played lousy, to we played great on offense. We haven't scored 21 points in 4 games, to the skins put up the most points they have all year and the offense is improving????? stupid bitch
htownskinfan 10-10-2005, 12:55 AM I havent read any of her other columns,so I'm not biased, but i thought her article was dead on,it didnt seem neg to me,just the facts
mooby 10-10-2005, 01:10 AM heh, if we scored 21 points in a game before week 7, she'd probably write after the game something along the lines of: the redskins haven't even scored 22 points in a game so far.
JWsleep 10-10-2005, 02:48 AM I don't read her because I always get mad when I read her pieces. I don't mind getting it from the national folks--that's not their beat, they've got they're own agenda, whatever. But a local sportswriter who consistently takes a negative tone with the team--it always annoys me. One can (and should!) be objective. But tone is a matter of style and rhetoric, not facts. She works for the biggest paper in DC, a town obsessed with the skins. Why does she always have to carp on the bad? And in that shrill tone? Ugh.
Whatever. I learn more about the skins from waching the games, looking at the press conferences on skins.com, and reading the posts on this message board. Who needs her? Maybe she can follow Nunyo to SI or something.
