two injured corners cost us the game i think, but we kept it close and almost pulled it out. I think healthy harris + springs at least saves ONE of the TD runs or prevents the TD pass that jimoh got burnt on.

Either way, there's no reason to turn into "the sky is falling" iggle fan mode, we're not going to go 16-0 and we barely lost to a very good team. We were in it right up to the last minute too.

A great DE could definately help our defense, but i think another good corner would be more useful (some of us have been ragging on the lack of depth there since smoot left). I would have rather seen wilds out there than jimoh for sure.

that's nice and all about the stats that we put up, but the only one i'm interested in is the win-loss stat. i'd much rather take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day.o ofcourse i don't care if we look ugly all the way to the superbowl as long as we win but when we do lose to a good team it is more comforting that it came with a good performance

I'm not downing the Skins I am very proud they played great.... the defense played well ... i saw some weakness in the LB and i'm an Lavar fan....thats all...but i am not saying the skins suck or anything like that they played very well.....

the LB's lost this game today... they played horrible.... mean while LaVar sat there. And We had so much pressure on Jake...what a genius Mr Williams is.....

Sorry, I disagree with this entire assessment.

IF, however, you are simply saying the LB's could have played better - well, yes, yes they could, but so could the entire team. I just don't think you can pin this one on the LB's. How about CP's fumble? The "take back" on the safety? Or the offsides on the kick at half time (didja notice it would have been good?).

Would they have played better with LaVar? dunno, never gonna know. Maybe LaVar is out of position on those same two game breaking runs. Lavar? Out of position? Why - that could NEVER happen!

Also, we clearly had enough pressure on Plummer to keep him under 100 yards. Not a bad day's defense of the pass.

As for the sarcastic remark towards GW - well, that's just plain dumb. The man creates killer defenses from back-ups. !!!HE HELD DENVER TO <100 yards PASSING WITH ADE JIMOH AS HIS STARTING CORNER!!!! That alone makes him not just a "genius" but a "fucking Genius"

I would rather see Arrington making the occational BIG HIT then seeing some guy that MIGHT make a routine play. When Arrington is in on the play, someone is going down HARD and sometimes the ball gets jarred loose. Holdman doesn't have that ability. At best he can bring the man down.

Sorry - have we learned nothing? This is a TEAM game. Haven't we seen how this defense relies on playing the assignment? I would rather have the guy make the routine play - ROUTINELY! Then a guy who makes a spectacular hit one play but blows routine coverages or assignments and allows the other side to make multiple big plays.

Sure LaVar is an incredible talent - but, if he is not playing his assignments, in this defense, he will cost us more big plays than he makes.

How do we know if Levar is playing his assignments. He doesn't even get a chance. I'm not that overly impressed with Holdman that Arrington doesn't even get a shot, at lease on third downs. This is CRAZY!
