Of course these don't mean much, but it's still fun to look at. I'm taking these numbers from ESPN by the way.
Brunell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=2485): 3131 yards, 21 TD, 11 INT
Portis (http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5937): 1403 yards, 32 catches
Moss (http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5463): 80 catches, 1824 yards, 11 TD
Cooley (http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6840): 48 catches, 613 yards
Brunell actually looks kinda realistic, Portis does too (hopefully with some TDs though :)), Moss isn't going to keep up this pace, and Cooley looks possible.

that would be absolutely one of the sweetest freakin things if Moss could have that type of year and keep up his current production, not too mention hopefully he's not robbed of anymore tds ;)
I also noticed the amount of tds for Portis were conspicuiously(sp?) missing. i just hope that he gets more than 8 or so this year and preferably a couple of those coming this weekend. :httr:
SmootSmack 10-08-2005, 12:53 AM While we're projecting, how about these great numbers?
Coles-64 catches, 668 yards, 4 TDs
McCants-4 catches, 88 yards, 0 TDs
Gardner-0 catches, 0 yards, 0 TDs (the trifecta!)

REMEMBER WE WON THE SUPERBOWL
That Guy 10-08-2005, 07:37 AM wow, that was a strong 1-2-3 punch at WR... I hope moss can keep that pace up though... then he's be like a 98 in madden next year. Too bad our other WRs have been close to non existant though :( I thought patten would have better stats by now after seeing all those bombs ramsey threw him, but brunell only seems to like him on on screens that go for 2 yards...
That Guy 10-08-2005, 07:44 AM more stats for role players:
betts - 496 yards, 5 catches for 25 yards
patten - 245 yards (from our #2??)
thrash - 464 yards
royal - 219 yards, 5 TDs
sellers - 21 yards, 5 TDs
obviously the TD numbers on everyone is (hopefully) way off, but so far our number 3 WR is doubling the production of our #2 while also returning kicks and being our #1 gunner on special teams, which makes our #2 WR kinda disappointing right now. (especially since i thought he was a good pickup over gardner... and while he's been better than gardner, well... i guess i'm right and wrong, but now i'm also really confused.
Sociofan 10-08-2005, 06:54 PM Actually, I'd be willing to bet that Cooley's numbers are going to increase as the season wears on. 60 catches and 800 yards is where I'm guessing. I'll have to check my sanity at the end of the season.
