I wonder if that still stands? No, the 35 points in the 2nd quarter was a record for most points in a quarter. Come on, a redskins fan should know this. I remember this game, too. I honestly thought the Broncos were going to win. After that play you never heard much from Elway the whole game. After we had scored those 35 points in the second quarter, my dad said, "Denver could still come back!" Even though John Elway was the comeback king, very seldom did teams comeback on the Redskins when they had built such a lead.
