Hey boys, matty, the rest of the crew from the old yahoo days. Interesting start to the season thus far. I expected the Giants D to be bad, but didnt expect the offense to be putting up this kind of numbers and certainly didnt expect the skins to be 3-0. I'll be at FedEx for the Xmas Eve Giants-Skins game. We have a long way to go, but it would be nice if that game has major implications on who walks away with the division crown. Not trying to get too far ahead of myself, as I still think philly is the class of the division, but if McNabb's ribs get any worse, they could experience a huge drop-off.

The NFC East appears to be back in a big way.

I think McNabb will get injured or will start to crumble because the entire offense is based on him. Westbrook isn't getting many carries and McNabb has an injury that will slowly get worse with every hit.

Nicely softened up for when we meet the Weasels in the first week of November.

The East has dropped it's title 'the least'.

coggs, go to control panel and switch your avatar to something easier to spot ;)

how's pierce so far? and while you've gotta like the numbers you're putting up, are you waiting to face a good D before making predictions?

I mean, i think blowing people out is impressive, but the cards aren't exactly the class of the nfl.

It will be an interesting season with a lot more questions than answers thus far, like...

Can the Skins keep winning close games? (Yes, since the strengths of our team are the defense and running game)

Can McNabb stay healthy, or at least on the field, all year?

Who can slow down the Giants?

Are the Cowboys for real? (Looks like not)

Yes, the beast is back. I'm from the old yahoo days too, so I liked seeing the shout out.

I mean, i think blowing people out is impressive, but the cards aren't exactly the class of the nfl. That is why I qualified my sentiments by saying "I don't want to get too far ahead of myself." Last year my boys started 5-2, were up on the Bears 14-0, Tiki goes in for a TD to go up 20-0, TD gets called back for a hold on Toomer, and then Kurt Warner turned into well, Kurt Warner (not the 99 version). I am just happy with Manning's progress. He drops back plants his feet and fires. He steps up when he needs to and has not made mistakes. Shockey seems to have his head on straight and Buress is proving he deserved his money. Still need to get Tiki on a few flare passes out of the backfield and get Toomer involved. As for Pierce he is doing a great job against the run. The DT's are clogging u p the middle leaving him free to make the play. I just wish the secondary wasnt so piss poor.

i was shocked by how much better manning looked... last year watching him was terrible... though your WRs (outside of shockey) were trash... we'll see how it shakes out.

I think it's good for Manning that he's played the Cards, Saints and St. Louis early to get his confidience up. Not to slight his accomplishments, but those aren't markee defenses.

Same goes for the Skins right now. But it's nice to have held a high power Seattle offense to reasonable numbers.
