I rail on skinnyfan because I would say 99% of his posts are negative. Typically I choose to skip over his posts because they are overtly doom'n'gloom.
I have no problem with people who take a realist point of view, offiss and SC's opinions are some that I value, because they give credit where it is due. Skinnyfan strikes me as a "glass is ALWAYS empty" kind of person, hence the reason I don't take those posts so seriously because I can't remember anything truly positive.
Yes.....my fault. The Redskins have done so much over the past years to warrant me to have positive thoughts about their football performances. And I am not the only guy that is a fan to pick the Skins to be 1-3 after this week. But you can skip over my posts if you want, no bother. I am pessimistic most of the time but that is because I feel the bottom is going to drop out on this dream 3-0 record. I tell ya what if we win this weekend.....I will never post again. You will rid yourself of all this negativity.

Hey, seriously no hard feelings. Nothing against you personally, but I normally don't like to read arguments on based on a year or more's precedence. We are in the here and now. It's one thing to make arguments on why we might lose, but maybe throw in a reason we might WIN every now and then. :)

We win in the forth with a heavy dose of Portis and then a 30 yard TD pass to Moss burning Champ to take the lead. With the less than two min. left and the Broncos driving Lavar levels Plummer turning the ball over and we run off the clock. That way Portis dumps on his old team, moss burns our x player and we end the Arington rumor.

I'd love to see a heavy does of Portis. We just CANNOT get away from the running game. If he gets 25+ carries, I think we'll be fine, even if his YPC isn't great.

True. But one good thing I read is that atheltic people (ex. The Skins whole team) don't have to adjust. It takes 3-4 days to feel the effects. It's all psychological.

Keys to win in my opinion:
1. Control the clock, Convert 3rd downs~Denver is supposed to have this great pass rush well lets use that to our advantage with some screens to the wideouts and the Running backs. make their defense tired.Cooley will also have a big role here in moving the sticks
2. Silence the crowd: the best way to do this is with big plays in the begining. This is where Taylor Jacobs and Davis Patten will come into play. Brunnel needs to be on time getting to these pass to other guys especially, if Champs will be on Moss. The first offensive play should be a flee ficker, with a long pass to moss giving the double move to bailey.
3.The Line needs to give Brunnel his time, and donot have costly penalties. We were very discaplined last game and we need to continue that in week 5.
4. Limit turnovers~ can't have picks, fumbles or anything that will take the ball away from us.
5.Special teams need to have a great game by getting us great field position and limiting theirs. Novak needs to make all his attempts in this game cause they will be vital to a win.
OnDefense:
Lock down the recievers, & stop the run. I think Arrington would be a great advantage to use in this game, with his blitzing ability and play making style he could cause plummer to make costly mistakes... Sean Taylor should be able to bait plummer into making mistakes.

I thought Chump was hurt? Has he been cleared to play?

Nobody knows for sure. He's listed as "questionable". And I've heard from more than one so-called "source" that it may be just smoke and mirrors so that we don't game plan for him.
Whether he's there or not, the Skins will be prepared as if he will be there.

I have a hunch the Skins pull this one out late in a very close and very low scoring game - - Maybe 17-13 or maybe even 13-10.
The Internet sports books have the Skins on the money line at +250 or +260 depending on where you look now. I'm hoping that the line moves to +280 by the weekend. If it does, I will hop on the Skins at that price.
In any event, I already took the Skins with 6.5 points...
