To be among so many fans of your team. I have only been there twice but i remember both vividly. both games i made friends with the people around me. the last game was just two weeks ago and i talked it up with an older man next to me, he seemed to remember when we were a dominant force and we enjoyed the win with many high fives. like Rat said go to the players enterance, it is awsome to talk it up with some of the players on the team. After the game they stay longer and will ofcourse be happy due to the fact that we will be 3-0!! Have a great time, wish i could be there! That is also an awsome story, be sure to thank your wife again skinsguy 09-28-2005, 07:55 PM my wife got me tickets for my thirtieth birthday. it was really cool, she threw a surprise party (shocked the hell out of me) and gave me the tickets. Your wife is cool and I'm going to have to put a bug in the ear of my fiancee! Too bad my birthday is in March....LOL!!! redskinsskickazz 09-28-2005, 07:59 PM sorry to keep buggin you guys but i found what seems to be a pretty good deal on travelocity. its roundtrip airfare for two and a room at the days inn camp springs for three nights for a total of 493 dollars (247) per person what do guys think of that hotel and its location for my needs. it says it within walking distance of the metro. skinsguy 09-28-2005, 08:00 PM If you have AAA...sometimes that helps out too.... BrudLee 09-28-2005, 08:33 PM Parking Lot opens at 9 am - I actually have a bachelor party the night before, so I'll be one of the following: A) Not drinking B) Still drinking C) Already drunk This should probably be a poll question. RedskinRat 09-28-2005, 09:23 PM Brud, what option covers 'Already Drunk' , but encompasses 'Jackassery of the alcoholic kind' cos I'm picking that 'un. BigSKINBauer 09-28-2005, 09:39 PM i parked at the cash lots last time, when do the buses start going back and forth? doxiechic12000 09-28-2005, 11:39 PM The drive is not so bad, I make all home games and I am from Upstate NY. When I am in town I stay at the Washington Terrace. This place is totally amazing, you will be treated like a god and sleep like you never have before. Dinner there is a must! As far as the game tailgating is a must. Dont be in a hurry to leave, traffic is a bitch. Enjoy the game! Hijinx 09-29-2005, 12:12 AM I might check into prices for the high speed amtrak train. It might takes a few more hours then a flight but it is much more comfy and no long check ins. If I remember right a flight from Boston to DC is like 2.5 hrs while the speed train is 5.5 hrs. |
